Natalie Basden and I may have spent a large part of our limited time here in and the bemoaning the weather, but the more time I spend going through the photos from this trip, the luckier I feel to have witnessed this side of Lake Superior. It’s allowed me to see a or two in, quite literally, a different light.

Today was a gloomy, dreary day in the twin ports. Still quite beautiful though if you’re brave or foolish enough to wander around in the mist with a camera… luckily it’s a lot easier with someone like Natalie Basden keeping you company

’s Scandinavian Heritage Park is perhaps the most obvious spot in the city to take photos. I’m not breaking any new ground coming here. But I feel like I’m getting something out of returning to the same spot over and over and taking sometimes the same photos over and over. I’m guilty of doing the whole wHeRe I lIvE iS tOo BoRiNg thing sometimes, but I dunno man… no matter how many times I return to this spot, it gives me something new.
