✨3 years✨
✨I have re-written this caption like 90 times because reflecting on the past three years feels a movie sped up 3 times faster and it’s quite literally flashing before my eyes. I have been so blessed to experience what I have been able to and to think it started on a Nikon D90. I got to shoot one of my favorite bands (ily Die Spitz), a s**t ton of my favorite diy bands in the cities and beyond (long live basement and garage venues), got to participate in She Rock! again which I so dearly love, created a website, got into film, and I put myself out there more than I ever had before. Which of course comes with all of the mental breakdowns over dust on my sensor, rejections for photo passes, MORE dead batteries and full sd cards during shoots (happened two nights ago lol) - it truly humbles me and reminds me that I’m not perfect and I still need to work hard for what I have and want
I have worked with so many new beautiful faces over this past year and I can’t wait to meet many many more
