It was a five year goal of mine to have one of my weddings published in a bridal magazine and I finally saw that dream to fruition! MN Wed Magazine reached out to me about one of my absolute favorite weddings from 2025 and I was so excited to share the news with the couple.

Ann and Chris chose one of my shorter packages and wanted me focused heavily on candids and storytelling. We had the most perfect late summer day out at Milk & Honey Ciders and all of the details curated by Ann were stunning. From getting ready in her parents home to dancing the evening away to live music … every detail was purposeful and unique.

It’s busy season in the busiest way. While I do not have a lot of summer weddings, I do finally get to celebrate all of your engagements and start getting excited for spending my fall with you!

This couple asked me to come out to their venue for their engagement session and we had the perfect weather and sunshine. And it was such good excuse to get an actual visual while we talked about their big day.

You all gave me some great ideas for upcoming posts of different parts of a wedding day to share, but obviously I have to start with Moms. I would have shared this yesterday but I spent the day with my own Mom!

I could have spent hours and hours going through these galleries to find photos of our beautiful mothers. It’s so fun to be the one who finally gets to make sure we have photos of her.

Your big day is something she’s been waiting to share with you for a very long time .. and whether she’s present in spirit or for real, include her in your love stories. 🫶🏼

They promised me staying late into the party would be worth it and they delivered.

It was important to Elena and Bryce to capture their loved ones letting loose and celebrating with them so we added on extra time for us to stay on the dance floor for awhile and honestly I think we had just as much fun as they all did!

I am trying to be mindful of sharing real moments of your days and not just the banger portraits we create together .. although I do love those, I love these real stories of joy even more.

I’m just a girl, sitting in an ambulance, wishing it was my couch where I could be editing photos and planning sessions. When the sun is still shining like this at 7pm it’s a near crime to keep me from my camera. And considering these two chase crime around all day, you’d think they would help a girl out here.
