You all gave me some great ideas for upcoming posts of different parts of a wedding day to share, but obviously I have to start with Moms. I would have shared this yesterday but I spent the day with my own Mom!

I could have spent hours and hours going through these galleries to find photos of our beautiful mothers. It’s so fun to be the one who finally gets to make sure we have photos of her.

Your big day is something she’s been waiting to share with you for a very long time .. and whether she’s present in spirit or for real, include her in your love stories. 🫶🏼

They promised me staying late into the party would be worth it and they delivered.

It was important to Elena and Bryce to capture their loved ones letting loose and celebrating with them so we added on extra time for us to stay on the dance floor for awhile and honestly I think we had just as much fun as they all did!

I am trying to be mindful of sharing real moments of your days and not just the banger portraits we create together .. although I do love those, I love these real stories of joy even more.

As promised, Spring Minis are up for grabs! (And I’m even 2 days early posting :)) I’m not really a “watch your email for an exclusive early link” kind of girlie because frankly, we’re all just impressed I even remembered to share these so early.

This year my sessions will be held at my favorite little secret spot in Robbinsdale, and I even have a couple of days that are late afternoon sessions because the way the sun hits through the willows trees is *chefs kiss*

This sunshine has me and my typical emo heart all sorts of ready for bright colors and green grass.

I know as wedding vendors we aren’t supposed to play favorites, but it is not a secret that my absolute favorite venue is .. you know I’m a St Paul girlie and there’s something so “home to me” about Summit Avenue. This venue has it all from classic to clean and crisp and is ready for a day of Minnesota weather and this day was such a good example of that, and I don’t know about you but the light sprinkle during the ceremony always adds a little magic for me.

This couple opted to keep their day simple and only wanted me for a few hours. We had so much fun during their time and they had plenty of time to spare to truly be present as they hosted an intimate gathering of their people in a timeless and beautiful space. (With the help of the best staff, coordinators and catering obviously!)

We should all be in our recovery era.

Look at this beautiful space that is .recovery which is a entity featured at and it is beautiful. I was blown away when I spent the day with Harris here, what he has built features every detail a gym kid would love and need to rebuild and recover after working their body.

I can’t wait to utilize this space after I get back to my own lifting routine!

Our version of spring break every year. Sunshine, bikes, friends and endless miles of red dirt.

How against the algorithm would it be for me to start sharing photos on here from all aspects of my life instead of just the work I am hired to do?

I know I need to be more present on this platform, and I feel hesitant to post at times because what I am “supposed” to share does not reflect real life.

Real life is this. It’s finding joy and color when life hasn’t exactly been doling it out. I use my cameras to tell your stories, but I also use them to tell my own. And when you come here to see who you are hiring .. I want you to know that I am so much more than a business. I am first and foremost living the best life I can, I am seeking adventure and memories, I am vulnerable and honest, and above all I am documenting it all along the way.
