Once fuzzy little white “black” Vultures, these guys are officially juveniles, able to fly, sit in the tallest trees and accompany parents almost everywhere they go ❤️ they still hold very small amounts of white fuzz, but it’ll soon be gone with every flight they take! These 2 will accompany mom and dad almost everywhere for up to 6 months until scavenging on their own, still being fed by regurgitation feeding, as shown in the video🐦‍⬛

The juvenile vultures have "left the nest", they are flying now, sitting in the tallest trees, and almost completely rid of their down fuzz! However they are still being fed by mom which I will upload videos shortly! They will stick close around their parents for up to 6 months after learning to fly! And some other photos I captured of Canadian Geese flying over and the sunset ❤️

Those that truly know me, know that I have zero limitations, but much love and respect for all animal species, big, small, many legs, exoskeleton, scales, all accredited to Steve and the Irwin family, developing from a very young age! And while the chances are slim, winning a chance to explore the Australian Zoo and the beautiful Australia itself is a huge check ☑️ off the bucket list!
However the part I am most excited about is not winning, it’s having World Renowned photographers such as Robert Irwin, Sean Scott, Kate Berry, and Harman Singh Heer seeing my work, that to me, is the most special part 📸

Be on the lookout in October! “People’s choice” will be available for voting then!! I’d love to have your vote!!

And just like that, these beautiful little ones have lost almost all of their baby fuzz, coming out of the nest and onto the ground, and learning to jump and fly back to the "nest". ❤️

Smoke this evening from the devastating, shocking, now 15,000 acre wildfire. Praying for everyone in its path, all the person's loosing land/housing, terrified pets, and the wildlife running for their lives in this scorching heat 🙏

Update: They've finally begun adventuring out of the "nest". For being carcass consumers, they relate to us in more ways than we think. Finding homes to raise a family out of the weather, vs. other birds who "weather" the storms which usually involves traditional nests with no overhead coverage. They are smarter than we think 💕

Update on Baby Vultures!! Growing slowly but surely. In these, you'll notice a large amount of their fuzz is gone and in its place, the all to familiar black feathers ❤️
