A Senior Story | ELLA

I had the BEST time with Ella and her sweet family!

They came all the way from Illinois with one vision, to capture a true Texas senior session. And honestly, what better place than the Fort Worth Stockyards? From the iconic brick streets and cowboy boots to the historic charm around every corner, it couldn't have been more perfect.

Every single location felt like it was made for her, and every photo reminded me just how naturally Ella shines. That smile is absolutely contagious, and she has the kind of joy that lights up every space she walks into.

Senior year is such a bittersweet season. It's the last first day of school, the last football games, the last dances, the last moments before life opens an entirely new chapter. It goes by so much faster than anyone expects, which is exactly why these memories deserve to be preserved. Years from now, these photos won't just remind her what she looked like, they'll remind her who she was in this unforgettable season of life.

These are the sessions that always remind me why I love what I do. Meeting incredible families, hearing their stories, and being trusted to preserve memories they'll treasure forever is something I'll never take for granted.

Ella, it was such a joy getting to meet you and your wonderful family! Thank you for making the trip and trusting me with such a special milestone. I truly hope the next time y'all find yourselves back in Texas, we get to create even more memories together.

A Family Story

I have waited far too long to share sneak peeks from this incredibly special family session.

The Miller's have walked through more than most families should ever have to. They recently lost their home in the EF3 tornado, and while so much was taken from them, one thing never was. Each other.

In the middle of heartbreak came something so beautiful in the arrival of their sweet new grandson. Isn't life amazing like that?

Sometimes joy and grief exist in the very same season. One chapter closes in the hardest way imaginable, while another begins with tiny fingers, sleepy snuggles, and the promise of new memories waiting to be made.

As I photographed this family, I couldn't help but notice what mattered most wasn't the house they lost. It was the laughter between parents and children. The pride of becoming grandparents. The way they leaned into one another. The smiles that still came so naturally. The quiet reminder that home isn't always a place, sometimes it's simply the people standing beside you.

These are the moments I hope they look back on years from now. Not because life was perfect, but because even in one of life's hardest seasons, love was still louder. That is the beauty of family.

To the Miller's, thank you for trusting me to preserve this chapter of your story. It was an honor to capture the resilience, strength, and love that shines through each one of you. I pray the days ahead are filled with healing, hope, and love.

Y’all surviving out there today? 🥵☀️

Because according to my weather app it’s 96° but feels like 114°. Pretty sure I saw Satan walking down the road laughing. I opened the door and got hit with a blast of air that felt like someone aimed a hair dryer directly at my face. Had to force my dogs to go outside to use the bathroom, they want no part of it. The pool feels like bath water. My deodorant has never been so tested. Steering wheel in my car is about one degree away from branding cattle.

At this point we’re all just trying to make it from the house to the vehicle and vice versa without becoming part of the pavement.

Check on your people. Check on your pets. Check on the friend who says “it’s not that bad” because they’re clearly delirious. 😂🔥

✨ Luna | A Birthday Story ✨

Double digits. TEN whole years old. 💕🎉

And if I had to choose a word to describe Luna, it would be JOY.

From the moment we started this session, she brought all the s***k, sass, giggles, confidence, and energy. She twirled, she jumped, she laughed, she posed, and she absolutely owned every second of her birthday story. I loved every minute of it.

There is something so special about ten. It's that beautiful in-between season where they're still full of childhood wonder and imagination, but you can start to see the incredible young person they're becoming. Watching Luna shine in front of my camera was such a reminder of how quickly these years pass and how important it is to celebrate them.

Because birthdays aren't just about getting older.
They're about celebrating who you are right now. The dreams you're dreaming. The personality that's blooming. The confidence you're finding. The memories you're making.

And Luna is making this chapter look absolutely beautiful.

Happy 10th Birthday, sweet girl! I hope this year is filled with laughter, adventure, big dreams, and all the magic your heart can hold. Thank you for letting me be a tiny part of such a special milestone.

I have waited way too long to share sneak peeks from this one, and I am so excited to finally show you this beautiful family! ❤️

The Jennings family stepped into this incredible landscape and somehow made it even more breathtaking. Towering rock formations, winding trails, golden light filtering through the trees, and a family overflowing with love, laughter, and connection. These are the kinds of sessions that remind me why I do what I do.

What I loved most wasn’t just the scenery (although WOW 😍), it was the way they interacted with each other. The giggles, the hugs, the little hands reaching for mom and dad, the way they looked at one another, and those genuine smiles that can’t be posed. Every corner of this canyon felt like a new chapter in their story, and I was honored to capture it.
