🐾🔥 A Different Kind of Training for a Very Special Event! 🔥🐾
This past Friday, some very special guests from Midland Animal Services joined Midland Firefighters as they prepared for the Tall City Memorial Stair Climb.

This year’s climb is Saturday, September 12th at Astound Broadband Stadium, and if you’ve never participated, I highly encourage you to do it.

I’ve climbed for the past 8 years, and every single year it’s an incredibly touching and emotional experience. As you climb, you’re honoring the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11. 🇺🇸

Unfortunately, our furry friends can’t join us for the climb. 🐾 But they have a pretty great place for you to visit afterward!

Midland Animal Services is open Saturday from 10 AM–2 PM, and there are SO many amazing dogs and cats waiting to meet their forever families.

After all, if you’re going to climb 110 flights of stairs, you’re going to need someone to help you recover on the couch afterward! 😂🐶❤️

🐾 Happy National Work Like a Dog Day! 🐾

Our newest office staff showed up bright and early... but we quickly discovered their resumes may have been slightly exaggerated. 😆

📎 Paperwork? They'd rather shred it.
📞 Answer the phones? Only if it's to order treats.
💻 Emails? They accidentally walked across the keyboard.
☕ Coffee runs? They prefer snack breaks and belly rubs.

Despite a few HR concerns, these hardworking pups have mastered the most important job of all—stealing hearts. ❤️

Every one of these "employees" is currently looking for a full-time position with excellent benefits, including cozy beds, endless toys, and a family to love.

We've said it before... there's a day for EVERYTHING! 🤣

Tomorrow is National Cow Appreciation Day (or as most of us know it... Chick-fil-A Day! 🐄🐔)

The "cows"... okay, okay... the dogs at Midland Animal Services wanted to get in on the celebration and have just one important message:

🐄 EAT MOR CHIKIN! 🐔

While you're out grabbing your favorite Chick-fil-A meal, make one extra stop and visit the real stars of Cow Appreciation Day. These adorable pups are dressed for the occasion and are hoping tomorrow is also the day they find their forever families. ❤️🐾

After all, the only thing better than chicken nuggets is going home with a new furry friend!!
