It's a wrap! After almost two years of photographing the Ilsley Library in Middlebury, Vermont, the final restoration and expansion are complete! This post features Saturday's Open House of hundreds of locals and the many contractors engaged in this exciting project. Among them, our former governor Jim Douglas and wife Dorothy, and Middlebury College's new president Ian Baucom (can you spot him?). The rooftop terrace is sure to be a favorite spot for many and, for now, I'll let the pictures tell the story. Complete photo gallery here:

Today, Director Dana Hart announced the grand opening of the "new" Ilsley Public Library in front of hundreds that gathered to celebrate a job well done. More pix to follow!
