Eddie & Catrin’s Washington, DC wedding was a refined celebration rooted in intention and thoughtful detail.

The day began with a first look and ceremony at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, followed by a celebration that reflected who they are, centered around exceptional food, beverage, and hospitality. Guests gathered for a coffee hour at Colada Shop before moving into a candlelit reception at Iron Gate, one of the most distinctive DC wedding venues in Dupont Circle.

Catrin wore Stella York, paired with Eddie’s classic J. Press and Brooks Brothers attire, timeless choices that complemented the setting and the season.

Planned by Dapper Retriever Events with florals by Floral and Bloom, the day came together seamlessly in the heart of Washington, DC’s cherry blossom season.

The best wedding exits don't always involve a vintage car or a sparkler send-off. Sometimes... they're a fully clothed jump into a pond.

With their friends and family cheering from the shore, these two ended their wedding day exactly how they wanted to—laughing, soaking wet, and completely wrapped up in the joy of the moment.

It's one of the many reasons I love photographing weddings at Edson Hill in Stowe, Vermont. Tucked into the Green Mountains, this iconic Vermont wedding venue is full of unexpected little corners that invite couples to make the day entirely their own.

Here's to ending the night with wet clothes, happy hearts, and memories you'll still be laughing about decades from now.

Feeling especially grateful with celebrations across the East Coast — returning to some of my favorite places like Edson Hill, The Woodstock Inn, Basin Harbor Club, Hildene The Lincoln Family Home, Iron Gate in DC, The Hermitage Inn, The Round Barn, Riverside Farm, and more.

Each place holds its own kind of magic.

When the first look with dad is pure love. What began as a quiet, anticipatory pause quickly unfolded into tears, with Rebecca's mom and sister watching this touching moment. This is the kind of family love that is such a privilege to witness.

4th of July at OQ Farm just hits different 🇺🇸✨

Golden fields, cold drinks, and that perfect mix of laid-back Vermont charm and Americana summer energy. Think creemees, music drifting through the hills, and a crowd that fully understood the assignment, denim, vintage Ralph Lauren, linen, a little red-white-and-blue, all styled to perfection.

An easy, sun-soaked evening that felt equal parts festive and effortlessly cool. Estelle & Francesco kicked off the wedding weekend just right.

A quiet moment on the pond, straight out of The Notebook.

Tucked into the magic of OQ Farm, these two slipped away for a boat ride among lily pads and still water, the kind of scene that feels almost too romantic to be real. Just soft light, gentle ripples, and a love that speaks for itself.

Moments like this are what make Vermont weddings so special, wildly beautiful, deeply intimate, and cinematic in the best way.

I’m drawn to color, texture, and the layered details that make a moment feel alive and a little unexpected. It’s the same way I see the world through my camera, rich, dimensional, and full of feeling.
