Forever a mermaid. 🌊
The ocean has always felt like home to me.
It’s where some of my sweetest memories live — long summer days with my grandparents, cousins, aunts, and family, endless beach trips with my mom, gathering with friends, laughing until sunset, and quiet moments alone when I just needed peace.
So much of my life has happened near the water. The beach has held joy, nostalgia, healing, connection, and so many different versions of me over the years.
For my birthday this year, I just wanted to document myself in the place that has always felt the most like me. And somehow it made it even more special that these were taken by my daughter, with me guiding her through the little moments and vision I had in my heart. A full circle feeling I’ll never forget.
42 feels soft, grounding, reflective… and honestly really beautiful.
No matter how much life changes, I think part of me will always belong to the sea.

Somehow I blinked and they’re about to be 10 and 9… but still the same little girls who made me a mom. Time is moving way too fast, and I’m over here trying to soak up every version of them at once.
Being their mom is the best, wildest, most beautiful role I’ll ever have.
