Leo Messi is bowing out of international football… 🥺 so I thought it was the perfect chance to throw it back to these photos I shot of him on 35mm film earlier in the year. An insane opportunity to capture him in the flesh, and of course he scored whilst I was there & managed to get his celebration as he ran past me. Bucket list moment. Did I cook?

PFA Player of the year Bruno Fernandes, shot on 35mm film 🎞️
Such a deserved winner. Apart from his obvious brilliance on the pitch, I’ve been very lucky to meet & work with Bruno on a few occasions, and can honestly say that he’s the warmest & most down to earth player I’ve ever met. Recently I got the chance to hang with him briefly at PD:FC Manchester & he became the first player to ever sign one of my photos of them for me. I kinda waited until it could be Bruno, because it just felt right. Captain of my club and a proper inspiration, it was an honour. Anyway, it’s now hung on the wall of my office at home (right next to the film fridge) and will never come down. Bruno, thanks for always representing United in the best way possible, and for being such a lovely guy every time we’ve crossed paths.
Long may he reign!
