The photograph I’m looking for isn’t always the one you think.
Sometimes it’s the perfectly posed portrait.
And sometimes it’s the photograph that happened right after.
The little glance.
The hand reaching for Mom.
The way Dad looks at his baby when he doesn’t realize I’m watching.
The toddler finally forgetting the camera is there.
Those moments aren’t accidents.
They’re the reason I leave room for a session to unfold instead of trying to control every second of it.
This is how I approach newborn, maternity and family photography in my private Miami Beach studio:

You’d never know this photograph started with something as simple as a cuddle.
No elaborate setup.
No trying to make the moment perfect.
Just Mom holding her babies.
And that’s one of my favorite things about family photography.
The photographs I love most aren’t always the ones we planned.
Sometimes they’re the ones that happen while we’re simply giving mom a chance to hold her babies a little longer.
In my private Miami Beach family and newborn studio, I want there to be room for those moments.
Room to slow down.
Room to cuddle.
Room to feed.
Room to simply be together.

There’s a reason my private studio is quiet.
Not because newborn sessions need to be perfectly silent.
They don’t.
Babies fuss.
They need to eat.
They need to be held.
Sometimes they need a little extra time.
And that’s exactly why I don’t believe in rushing through a newborn session.
When the room is calm, we can pay attention to the little things.
The change in baby’s breathing.
The tiny stretch.
The moment they settle into Mom’s arms.
The expression Dad makes when he looks down at his baby.
We don’t have to hurry past those moments to get to the next pose.
We can simply let the baby lead us.
That’s what I want a newborn session at my private Miami Beach studio to feel like:
calm, intimate, unhurried, and completely centered around your baby.

The funny thing about this photograph?
Nothing was happening.
No complicated pose.
No rushing to get the shot.
No trying to make the baby “cooperate.”
We were simply giving this little person time to settle into the moment.
Maybe baby needed to be held.
Maybe it was time for a feed.
Maybe we just waited.
And somewhere in that quiet space, everything came together.
That’s one of the things I love about newborn photography.
Sometimes the most beautiful photographs happen when we stop trying to make them happen.
My private newborn studio in Miami Beach was created with exactly that kind of experience in mind—a calm space where we can follow baby’s rhythm instead of rushing through a checklist of poses.
Because your newborn doesn’t need to perform for the camera.

Nobody tells you that you don’t actually have to know what to do in front of a camera.
You don’t need to know how to pose.
You don’t need to know where to put your hands.
You don’t need to know how to make your toddler cooperate.
And you definitely don’t need to arrive knowing how to create a beautiful photograph.
That’s my job.
Your job is simply to be with the people you love.
I’ll guide you when you need direction, step back when the moment is unfolding naturally, and watch for the little connections happening in between.
That’s the part of a newborn, maternity, or family session I care about most:
Making the experience feel natural enough that you can forget you’re being photographed.

Nobody tells you that it’s the little things you eventually miss the most.
Not just how small they were.
The way they reached for you.
The way their hand wrapped around your finger.
The little expressions you didn’t think twice about because you saw them every day.
That’s one of the reasons I believe family photography matters.
Not because your life needs to look perfect in photographs.
But because ordinary days don’t stay ordinary forever.
Your newborn becomes a toddler.
Your toddler becomes the child who suddenly doesn’t fit in your lap anymore.
And one day, the tiny details you never thought you’d forget are exactly the ones you’ll wish you could see again.
As a Miami Beach newborn, maternity and family photographer, I want to create photographs that don’t just show you what your family looked like.

Every toddler arrives a little differently.
Some run right in.
Some hide behind mom.
Some spend the first few minutes simply watching.
And I never see that as something to fix.
One of my favorite moments during a family session is the second I stop being “the stranger.”
It’s usually small.
A smile.
A little giggle.
A game they suddenly decide to play.
That’s when I know we’ve stopped taking photos...
and started building trust.
I don’t believe children need to perform for beautiful photographs.
I believe they need the space to feel safe enough to be themselves.
Those are almost always the images families treasure most.
