There’s just something extra special about family photos when everyone is finally in the same place.

With Tammy & Jason’s children (and their spouses!) visiting from out of state, we took advantage of having everyone together and spent the gorgeous golden hour right at their home .

We started along the gravel road, then made our way to the porch (which Tammy was very proud of, so obviously we had to show it off a little) Next we headed to the prettiest little hill just as the setting sun started peeking perfectly through the trees. And before we wrapped it all up, the dogs joined us for a few photos too, because they are family too!

Their home. Their people. Their pups. And one beautiful Missouri sunset.

I had such a fun and wonderful time photographing Haley, Olivia, Raychel, Drake, Kaelyn, and Allie of Reclaimed Counseling + Wellness here in Mexico!
Haley has created such a warm and welcoming team. I loved getting to capture not only the polished, professional side of their practice, but also a little bit of the personality and connection behind it.

Megan & Jack

The day began with the sweetest first look before we explored the breathtaking seminary grounds. One of my favorite details of the day was Megan's wedding attire, her mother handcrafted both her gown and veil, making them even more meaningful.

Despite the scorching summer heat, we ventured to Forest Park for wedding party and newlywed portraits. It's one of my favorite hidden gems for photography, and it never disappoints. We returned to the seminary for a beautiful ceremony surrounded by soaring ceilings, rich woodwork, and stunning stained glass before sneaking away for a few more portraits afterward.

And because every wedding has at least one memorable moment... I confidently stepped backward off a staircase and landed right on my behind. 😂 Thankfully, my camera stayed safely in the air, and only my pride took the fall.

The reception ended with one of the sweetest first dances I've had the pleasure of watching. Megan and Jack had choreographed a fun routine that perfectly reflected their personalities. Watching Jack twirl Megan across the dance floor through so many beautiful spins had everyone smiling. It was joyful, playful, and such a wonderful way to celebrate the start of their marriage.

Congratulations, Megan & Jack! Thank you for trusting me to capture such an incredible day. Wishing you both a lifetime of laughter, adventure, and many more dances together.

Rainy mornings seem to be becoming the theme of this wedding season, but if there's one thing I've learned, it's that the weather almost always finds a way to work itself out. ☔

Katie and Deyton's day at Capital Bluffs Event Center was no exception. We kept the umbrellas close by just in case, but after the sweetest first look, the clouds gave way to beautiful blue skies just in time for their outdoor ceremony.

The celebration continued inside with an evening full of love and laughter. During their first dance, the suns rays streamed through just enough to create the most beautiful trickle of light. It was one of those little unexpected moments that photographers dream about.

Rain or shine, this day was absolutely beautiful from beginning to end.

Some wedding days don’t go exactly as planned, but Devin and Josh proved that a little rain can’t dampen a whole lot of love. ☔️

Their day brought stormy skies and wet weather, but these two embraced every moment and turned it into something truly beautiful. We even got to take advantage of those dramatic clouds to create some of my favorite images from the day.

Before the ceremony, they shared the sweetest first look. It was one of those quiet moments where everything else seemed to disappear for a few minutes, and they could simply soak in the excitement of finally becoming husband and wife.

And can we talk about Devin for a second? She has the kind of personality that instantly lights up a room. She’s joyful, genuine, and the ultimate hype girl—the kind of person who makes everyone around her feel seen and celebrated. You can tell just by being around her that people are drawn to her energy.

Surrounded by family and friends, Devin and Josh exchanged vows in the beautiful church on Westminster campus before celebrating the night away at Millbottom, one of my favorite local venues.

Rain and all, it was absolutely worth it. ❤️

Some weddings just make you smile from the moment you arrive, and Alex and Sara's day at Wasserlauf Valley was exactly that.

From the incredible florals to the vibrant colors woven throughout every detail, this wedding felt like stepping into pure joy. Sara chose the most beautiful spring-inspired bouquets, and each bridesmaid wore a different color, creating the most fun and cheerful palette. It was colorful, unique, and so perfectly them.

I also loved that Alex had two groomswomen standing by his side, a beautiful reminder that your wedding day should be filled with the people who matter most, no matter tradition.

Surrounded by wonderful friends and family, these two celebrated with so much love and happiness. Every corner of this day was bursting with personality, and honestly, these photos are the kind that instantly brighten your mood.

Some weddings are beautiful, and some weddings feed your soul. This one did both.
When Tucker and Riley first reached out, their plans looked a little different. But when they decided to trade their original venue for a beach wedding in Gulf Shores, I was completely on board. And wow, was it worth it.

The sound of the waves, the ocean breeze, and an intimate gathering of family and friends created the perfect backdrop for their day. I've always felt at home near the ocean, and spending the day on the beach capturing these memories filled my cup in the best way.

Riley is one of those people whose joy is absolutely contagious. She was so excited to marry Tucker, and her sweet spirit shined through every moment of the day. And let's talk about her girls—they were the ultimate hype squad! From getting ready to celebrating on the beach, they brought so much love, energy, and excitement to every part of the day.

Nick & Katie

Some weddings just feel like home, and Nick and Katie's day was one of them.

From the moment I arrived at their beautiful family farmhouse, I was welcomed with so much kindness. It felt less like walking into a wedding full of strangers and more like spending the day with people I'd known for years.

There were so many meaningful details woven throughout the day. Katie wore her grandmother's veil, a beautiful family heirloom that added so much sentiment to every moment. Her mother also handcrafted the sweetest ring holder, making the day even more personal and special. And while I was photographing those details, a few very important members of the family—their beloved fur babies—made several appearances and were more than happy to supervise my work. 🐾
