Senior year sneaks up faster than anyone warns you about.

One minute you’re signing them up for kindergarten, and the next they’re picking out their cap and gown color. It goes by fast, and these sessions are for the moms who want something real to hold onto once it’s over.

I create senior sessions that actually feel like them, not the same three poses at the same three spots everyone in town uses. Real personality, real confidence, real “this is who my kid is right now” energy.

Nobody warns you that there’s a “last time” you pick your kid up, and you don’t know it’s happening while it’s happening.

It just becomes true one day, you look up and they’re taller than you, hugging you from above, and you can’t quite remember when that switch flipped.

If it’s been years since your last family photos because your kids “got too old” for it, that’s not actually a real deadline. There isn’t a window that closes. There’s just now, however old everyone is, however things look. 🤍
This season is worth capturing too. Let’s do it.

I didn’t stumble into photography. I came at it sideways, after years in corporate communications, PR, and branding, thinking about strategy long before I ever thought about lighting.

That background is exactly why I don’t just show up and take pretty pictures. Every session I shoot, I’m thinking about brand consistency, who your audience actually is, and what an image needs to do for your business, not just how it needs to look.

Trends in photography come and go. Strategy doesn’t. That’s the part I bring to every session.

Not every session needs to be the full experience, and that’s okay. If all you want is a quick, no-frills photo, a lower-priced option might genuinely be the right call for you.

But if you’re comparing photographers purely by the number next to “one hour,” you’re missing most of what actually determines how your session goes and what you walk away with.

Planning support. Posing direction. Styling guidance. Help choosing which images actually represent you well. That’s not “extra” for a lot of us, that’s the whole reason the session goes smoothly and the photos turn out the way you hoped.

Same hour on paper. Very different hour in practice. 🤍
Worth asking what’s actually included before you decide based on price alone.
