My love, My Gary,
I want you to know something that is very true in my heart. I believe I love you more today than I have ever loved you.
Life has taken us through so many seasons together—the good times, the difficult times, the mistakes, the heartbreaks, the healing, and now the challenges we face every day. Through it all, my love for you has not grown weaker; it has grown deeper.
I see the courage it takes for you to face each day. I see the struggles you carry, the fears, the sadness, and the frustration when things don't come as easily as they once did. None of those things make me love you less. If anything, they have made me love you more.
You are not defined by what you can or cannot do. You are not defined by this disease. You are the man I chose, the man I continue to choose, and the man I love with all my heart.
When you have difficult dreams or wake up feeling discouraged, I want you to remember this: I am here. We are here. We have walked through so much together, and I am not going anywhere.
Thank you for loving me, for fighting for us, and for sharing your life with me. No matter what the future holds, my heart is with you.
