This is my absolute favorite time of year to be outside! The temps are finally cooling down here and the colors of the trees with the golden hour light streaming through just can’t be beat. What an absolute gift it has been to watch these two little ones grow in front of my lens!

I am so excited to announce that I will be opening a print shop with this image and so many more available! For years friends have told me that they would love to have some of my images framed in their homes and soon they will be available!

The sweetest sisters ❤️ A 10 year old asked me last night why I need to take her photo every year. The answer is easy! Those little hands, dimples, smiles, expressions are ever changing and growing. They are only this little for such a short time. You will never regret investing in family photoshoots to freeze this moment in time!

I can’t wait for my second round of mini sessions this Saturday. There is still time to book this fall if you’ve been on the fence!

Headshots in Ireland with the incredible Natalie Chang at Adare Manor?! 100% yes every. single. time!! We had a fantastic lunch and then got to explore the grounds for a while to walk off our food coma. I couldn’t be more thankful that I got to marry into this friendship. Our husbands have been best friends for years and years. I’m so thankful that they took me in when Patrick and I started dating! Natalie has a heart of gold and I am so thankful for her friendship ❤️

The first round of mini sessions were absolutely perfect! The rain held off, each family came ready to make sweet memories together and the leaves were already beginning to change! One of my biggest tips for families as they prepare for their mini session is to come ready to have fun. I won’t put pressure on you to make your kids act a certain way or stand stiff the whole session. Everyone loves their classic smiling at the camera photo and I will make sure I get that but I will also encourage you to snuggle close, be silly, give Eskimo kisses and I may even pull out my fart app to get your kids laughing 😆 If you want fun, care-free family sessions where we get gorgeous photos in the process then I’d love to work with you!

The wildlife in Ireland was absolutely incredible! Our favorite hike of the trip was Slieve League (Sliabh Liag) on the northwest coast of Ireland. The cliffs, the animals, the sunset and the views were all incredible. I even ran into a friend I went to college in Ohio with! Talk about a small world!! We could see God’s creativity, perfect timing and his sovereign hand over every detail including seeing this fox walking along the edge of the cliff! I was so thankful that I already had my camera in my hand so I was able to capture him looking right at us. My son said these look like they are AI and I can see why but being in this exact spot and this exact moment is something I hope I will never forget!

This sweet mama is surrounded by tall boys and tons of love! Fall mini sessions are off to an amazing start. Some questions I’ve gotten frequently are: do I still have space in my schedule for more sessions and can I bring my pets and my answer to both is YES!

Busy season officially kicks off this weekend. I am so excited to see so many families that I know and love as well as meeting new families that I feel so honored to be able to photograph. But secretly I’m dreaming about exploring the Irish countryside with my favorite person ❤️ I have only edited a handful of images so far but I can’t wait to make a photo album with all of our adventures from Ireland this summer. Can you spot Patrick in the second photo? This man was living his very best life every time he got to explore without barriers or people telling him where he could and couldn’t go!

This round of personality sessions did not disappoint!! These three posed, laughed, danced and snuggled (aka put each other in choke holds but snuggling sounds better). I absolutely love the classic black and white portraits but man am I also a sucker for color! Which do you prefer?

The most beautiful sunset photo session with the sweetest family! The sky was incredible our whole session, we got to chase ducks, watch swans float peacefully on the water and I got to capture such sweet moments between this family of 3! I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful Memphis evening at Shelby Farms Park!
