Motherhood has a way of changing everything.

Before the sleepless nights, first smiles, tiny fingers, and newborn snuggles, there is this season. A season of waiting, growing, preparing, and becoming.

My approach to maternity photography is simple. I want you to look back at these images years from now and remember exactly how it felt, the excitement, the anticipation, and the incredible journey of bringing a new life into the world.

PERSONALITY PORTRAITS ARE COMING ✨
The photos that make it into your heart are normally not the perfectly posed ones.

They’re the silly faces.
The gap-toothed smiles.
The twirls, jumps, stuffed animals, dance medals, favorite blankets, and all the little things that make your child them.

That’s exactly why I created Personality Portraits.

These sessions are simple, relaxed, and completely child-led. No pressure to sit still. No forced smiles. Just a space for your child’s personality to shine.

Paris, if you’re listening… I’m ready. 🤍

These are the kinds of sessions that make my heart beat a little faster.

The quiet streets. The timeless architecture. The movement. The fashion. The feeling that every corner could belong in a magazine editorial.

I spent nearly half of my life in Europe, and no matter where I go in the world, I’m always pulled back to it. There is something about the way Europeans embrace beauty in everyday life. The way they walk slower. The way history, art, architecture, and style all coexist naturally. It feels familiar to me. It feels like home.

When I photograph in places like Paris, it doesn’t feel like work. It feels like creating art. The truth is, if every session I photographed looked and felt like this, I would be completely content. A beautiful destination, a client who values experience over perfection, movement over posing, and storytelling over trends.

I love photographing people who are celebrating something, an engagement, an anniversary, a milestone birthday, a solo trip, a new season of life, or simply the fact that they exist in this moment and want to remember it.

One of my favorite parts of the photography experience doesn’t happen during your session.

It happens afterward.

When you come back to view your images for the very first time.

The excitement, the tears, the laughter, the moments you forgot happened during the session all brought back to life through your photographs.

Recently, one of my maternity clients came in to view her gallery and explore artwork options for her home. Together we looked through heirloom albums, fine art prints, framed artwork, and custom collections designed to preserve this season of life long after baby arrives.

As photographers, we often talk about creating memories, but I truly believe those memories deserve more than a folder on your phone.

They deserve to be printed.

And honestly? These might be my favorite sessions I photograph all year.

No pressure to smile.
No pressure to sit perfectly still.
No pressure for parents to stress about whether their child is “cooperating.”
No stress on what to wear.

Just your child exactly as they are right now.

The silly faces.
The missing teeth.
The twirls.
The giggles.
The stuffed animals they can’t live without.

As a mom, I know how quickly these little personalities change. One day they’re carrying their favorite bunny everywhere, and the next they’ve outgrown it. One day they’re giving you the biggest belly laughs, and the next they’re suddenly too cool.
