🌊📸 Change of Plans… Still Chasing the Moment

Sometimes the ocean has other ideas. Due to high seas, our scheduled stop at Great Stirrup Cay was canceled—but that’s all part of the adventure.

Instead, we’re embracing a peaceful day at sea, taking in the rhythm of the waves and enjoying some unexpected company overhead. These incredible seabirds have been putting on a show, gliding effortlessly across the deep Caribbean blues—reminding me that there’s always something worth capturing, no matter the plan.

Thank you to everyone who’s been following along on this Caribbean journey. Your support means a lot, and I’m glad to share these moments with you.

🇻🇬📸 Tortola, BVI – Island Perfection

Today’s stop brought us to the beautiful Tortola, and it was everything you picture when you think of the Caribbean.

We spent time soaking it all in at Cane Garden Bay—crystal-clear water, soft sand, and that laid-back island vibe that makes it hard to leave. From there, we made our way up into the mountains where the views opened up to endless shades of blue stretching across the horizon… absolutely unreal.

Days like this are why I love bringing the camera along—so many moments worth capturing, but even more worth experiencing.

Tomorrow we’re enjoying another relaxing day at sea before our next stop at Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas 🌊📷

Today’s stop brought us to the stunning St. Thomas, and it did not disappoint. We took in the incredible “Heights & Sights” tour, making our way up to the famous Mountain Top where the views overlooking Magens Bay were nothing short of breathtaking.

From lush green hills to that unmistakable Caribbean blue water, every turn felt like a postcard. We wrapped up the day with a ride on the Skyride to Paradise Point gondola—an incredible perspective looking down at the harbor filled with cruise ships and sailboats.

Next stop: Tortola… more island adventures ahead 🌊📷

🇩🇴 Island Stop: Puerto Plata 🌊📸

Today we made port in Puerto Plata and what an unforgettable day it turned out to be. We spent the afternoon at Ocean World Adventure Park getting up close with dolphins, sea lions, and even sharks—an experience that’s hard to put into words.

From the lush mountain backdrops to the crystal-clear Caribbean blue waters, this stop delivered incredible scenery and nonstop adventure. Moments like these are what make traveling—and capturing it through photography—so special.

Next stop: St. Thomas… can’t wait to see what’s in store 📷🌴

🚢 Setting Sail from the Space Coast 🌊📸

Yesterday we officially kicked off our 7-day family cruise adventure out of Port Canaveral, Florida aboard the Norwegian Joy—and what an incredible sendoff it was.

As we departed, we passed multiple Disney Cruise Line ships, creating a surreal scene of giants sharing the channel. We cruised by the iconic Exploration Tower standing tall over the port, all while being es**rted out by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and the Port Canaveral Pilots Association—an unforgettable experience to capture through the lens.

Today, it’s all about slowing down and soaking it in with a relaxing day at sea. The ocean, the breeze, and a little time behind (and away from) the camera before our first stop—exploring the beautiful Dominican Republic tomorrow.

More moments to come from the U.S. & British Virgin Islands and the Bahamas… stay tuned for the journey 🌴📷

📸 Out and about in North Florida this afternoon…

Spent some time exploring and came across a few awesome local residents enjoying the day 🌿☀️ A curious Muscovy duck strolling through the flowers and a Yellow-bellied slider turtle soaking up the sunshine by the water.

It’s always amazing what you can find when you slow down and take it in—nature never disappoints. These were just a couple quick camera phone captures, but moments like this are what it’s all about.

Day two of this weekend’s photography adventure took us to Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Cape Canaveral National Seashore here in Central Florida. 🌿📷

Today we explored Black Point Wildlife Drive and Biolab Road, and wow—what a day. From a stunning view of the NASA Artemis rocket standing tall on the launch pad to unforgettable wildlife moments with ospreys, egrets, and alligators, the refuge was absolutely alive.

Add in that beautiful 65-degree weather, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day to be out shooting.

What an incredible day out at the Orlando Wetlands in Christmas, Florida 📸🌿

Surrounded by towering traditional oak trees and the quiet beauty of Old Florida, this place never disappoints. From sun-soaking alligators and curious turtles to an amazing variety of birds at every turn, the Wetlands are a true haven for wildlife photography.

The Orlando Wetlands is a protected nature preserve known for its diverse ecosystems, scenic boardwalks, and one of the best birding locations in Central Florida. It’s a place where nature slows you down and reminds you how wild and beautiful Florida still is.

Exceptional scenery made even better by exceptional company—days like this are why I love being behind the lens.
