2026 FREE “Summer Concert Series In The Park”

The first concert of the summer is Wednesday, June 10, featuring Liz Berg

Join the Medinah Park District for our FREE outdoor family concerts this summer! Bring your family and friends for three evenings of spectacular music. Don’t forget the lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets!

Concessions will be available for purchase on our patio during the concert.

Wednesday June 10: Liz Berg is a Chicago-area multi-instrumentalist, performer, and music educator who plays eight instruments, runs her own music school, and performs more than 150 shows annually—with over 3,000 career performances to date. A Grammy voting member, her original music has been licensed for national TV shows including House Hunters and Flip or Flop. She has studied songwriting with hitmaker Holly Knight and leads several popular acts, including The Jolly Ringwalds, Saddle Shoe Sisters, and Galway Gals. Liz also produces the YouTube channel Smarts and Entertainment, featuring music interviews and performances, and has been featured on WGN-TV, WXRT, Q101, and in major Chicago publications.

Exciting updates are coming! Our gymnasium floor replacement project is scheduled for June 15 - 23. During construction, the gymnasium will be temporarily closed. We appreciate your patience as we improve the space!

The project consists of:

- Removing the old multipurpose flooring and installation of a new Mondo Power Play 2 athletic surface.

- Installing game lines for 1 full basketball court, 4 side courts, 3 pickleball courts, and 2 volleyball courts.

- The wooden bleachers will be replaced with three new tip and roll aluminum bleachers.

We appreciate your patience as we improve the space!

School’s out and summer is here! Sign up for the Medinah Park District’s popular summer camp, where your child is sure to have a spectacular time. We’re committed to delivering the ultimate camp experience, and your fee covers a host of exciting features. Our 10-week program will include weekly off-site field trips, engaging guest speakers, fun activities, crafts, and plenty of free play. Be sure to dress comfortably, as most of the camp is outdoors. Campers will be grouped by their upcoming grade level: K-2nd grade and 3rd-6th grade. Please bring a backpack every day with a lunch, snack, water bottle, sunscreen and bug spray.

Summer Fun Camp
Youth entering Grades K-6
June 8 – August 14 (Sign up for one or all 10 weeks)
9:00 am – 4:00 pm
*Sign up for the entire 10-week camp and save $200. (Applies to Cubbies and Grizzlies camp only).
Before and After Camp Care Options are available.

This 10-week pre-k camp features a variety of exciting activities, including games, crafts, guest speakers, music playtime, and more.

Counselor-In-Training Program
Ages 11.5-14.5
June 8 – August 14 (10-week program)
9:00 am – 4:00 pm
This program offers a great chance to develop leadership skills, learn about behavior management, improve communication, and make decisions alongside your fellow campers and counselors.

Exciting updates are coming!

Our gymnasium floor replacement project is scheduled for the week of June 9, with a backup week of June 16. During construction, the gymnasium will be temporarily closed.

The project consists of:
- Removing the old multipurpose flooring and installation of a new Mondo Power Play 2 athletic surface.
- Installing game lines for 1 full basketball court, 4 side courts, 3 pickleball courts, and 2 volleyball courts.
- The wooden bleachers will be replaced with three new tip and roll aluminum bleachers.

These improvements should take approximately one week. We appreciate your patience as we improve the space!

Looking for a way to get active, have fun, and work toward completing a 5K? Condition yourself to safely and effectively race three miles in this 10-week walk-to-run program. Dr. Krystian Garbicz and Dr. Erin Strauch-Ducat lead each session, which includes educational workshops on proper stretching, footwear, equipment, heart rate monitoring, and strengthening. Participants should be able to comfortably walk for 30 minutes before starting the program and, upon completion, will be able to run 3.1 miles. Please wear comfortable athletic clothing and shoes and bring water. Participants will also receive a discounted registration to the Race to Stop Hunger 5K in August 2026.

Instructors: Dr. Krystian Garbicz and Dr. Erin Strauch-Ducat, chiropractors and strength coaches from Reset Chiropractic & Wellness Center. Dr. Krystian is fluent in both English and Polish, and instruction can be provided in either language.

It’s been a wonderful year for our Little Scholars Preschoolers! Today we celebrated our graduates as they head to kindergarten and our younger preschoolers returning this fall. Families enjoyed a special graduation ceremony recognizing our students’ accomplishments. Thank you to our amazing preschool teachers Ms. Marissa, Ms. Emilie, and Ms. Jackie for their hard work, creativity, and dedication to this program. Registration for the 2026–27 school year is now open with spots available. Congratulations, graduates!

We had an unforgettable time at Friday’s Mother Son Fun Night! Our sports-themed celebration was a total home run — complete with a DJ, dancing, photo ops, games, delicious food and desserts, and a special appearance by Coop the Boomer!
