Embrace the vibrant side of life with our exciting 9th Annual Color Run. Join us for an evening filled with color and fun. Bring your family and friends to partake in the festivities.

Your participation fee covers a dynamic mile loop that can be conquered multiple times, ensuring an evening of exhilarating activity. Additionally, each participant will receive a specially designed running t-shirt, stylish sunglasses, and two color packets to enhance the colorful experience. (Additional color packets may be purchased.)

Sweet treats will be available for purchase from Kona Ice.

Due to a temporary building issue, the Medinah Park District office / Connolly Recreation Center is closed on Monday, August 31.

The fitness center is closed and all classes normally held at the Connolly Recreation Center will not be held today/tonight. The building will reopen tomorrow.

Arts & Crafts
This program encourages creativity and self-expression through drawing, painting, sculpting, and hands-on crafting projects. Each session gives students the space to explore different mediums and develop fine motor skills and confidence in their own creativity.

Park Studio Dance classes are starting soon!
For ages 3+

Dates: Thursday classes begin September 10, and Monday classes start September 14, and are held at the Connolly Recreation Center, 22W130 Thorndale Avenue in Medinah.

Our progressive curriculum focuses on dance concepts and core techniques as well as teaching the importance of respect, positive attitude and hard work. In our classes students will develop grace, rhythm, coordination, creativity, and confidence in a fun, safe and structured environment. IAC’s dance classes offer stability, a sense of community, socialization and structure. We look forward to seeing you in class!

Classes: Dance I, II, III, IV, and Pre-Point classes are available in programs run in cooperation with Innovation Arts Connection. Classes are for ages 3+. Various times and days of the week.

Another incredible summer camp season has come to an end—and what a summer it was!

Our Summer Fun Camp featured 10 weeks of joy, laughter, surprises, and nonstop fun. From weekly off-site adventures and special guest visits to games, crafts, and countless activities, our Lil’ Critters, Cubbies, Grizzlies, and Counselors-in-Training made memories to last a lifetime!

A huge thank you to our amazing Head Counselors, Emilie and Marissa, and our dedicated counselor team for bringing so much passion, energy, and heart to camp all summer long. We couldn’t have done it without you!

And while camp may be over, the fun isn’t! We hope to see you all at our upcoming events: Concert in the Park & Bingo + Giving! — September 9, Color Fun Run — September 18, Harvest Fest — October 3, Holiday Celebrations — and more to come!

Thank you for making this summer one to remember. We can’t wait to see you again soon!

We're sharing this information from the District 11 Band Program to help put out the word! Do you have gently used band instruments laying around? Please consider donating them to our district to help ensure all students can participate in band.

Bring gently used brass, woodwind, or percussion instruments to MIS or MMS Curriculum Night, or drop them off at Medinah Middle School on Saturday, August 29th from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. This drive is hosted by the Medinah Music Boosters.

The Medinah Park District is happy to announce the construction of a new parking lot at Goodenough Park. This shiny new parking area is calling your name! Our beautiful park is located at Lloyd & Woodview in Itasca, and offers 3.7 acres of park land, tennis court, pickleball court, two half basketball courts, a great playground, and a 0.4-mile walking running path. Come and enjoy!
