A little studio transformation ✨

I loved having my lifestyle bed setup in the studio, but sometimes you just need a fresh look and a little more versatility!

So I moved ALL of this out and transformed this area into a beautiful blank wall with classic wainscoting. 🤍

I am already loving how clean and timeless this backdrop feels, and I have a feeling it’s going to be used for so many different sessions!

This session was extra special to me. 🤍

Mom wanted to recreate a memory she has with her older daughter, who is now a beautiful young woman. When she was little, her parents would sit on the edge of the bed with her. It was such a simple moment, but one that meant so much to their family.

So we recreated that same moment with her baby sister. 🥹

I truly love when families bring ideas like this to their sessions. It makes the photos so much more meaningful because they are not just pretty pictures, they are part of your family’s story.

This is one of the reasons my studio is one of my favorite places to photograph newborns. We can do the traditional posed newborn photos, but we can also slow down and capture those sweet lifestyle moments between parents, siblings and their new baby.

There is just something so special about seeing a little girl wear her mama’s wedding dress. 🤍

She was SO excited to put on her mom’s dress and I loved watching her take it all in. These are the moments I love capturing during in home sessions. The excitement, the little details, the giggles and the connection between a mama and her babies.

Of course I had to capture some of them together too. 🥹 That sweet little nose to nose moment is one I will never get over.

I love that family photography does not have to be posed and perfect. Sometimes the sweetest images happen right in the middle of a cuddle, a giggle or a little moment between mama and her girl.

These are the memories you will want to hold onto forever. 🤍

There will come a day when the little details of this season of life begin to fade.

The sound of their little voices. The way tiny hands reach for yours. The way your boys look at you. The feeling of carrying another precious baby beneath your heart. Even the little moments you think you could never forget will eventually become memories.

This beautiful maternity session at Everett Covered Bridge was filled with so much love. A mama and dad expecting their newest little one, with their two sweet boys right by their side. These are the moments worth documenting because one day, these boys will be grown, this baby will be in their arms, and this chapter will be something they can look back on together.

There are certain little details I never want to miss during a newborn photography session. 🤍

I always try to capture those sweet little profiles, their tiny noses, perfect lips, and those beautiful lashes that seem almost too delicate to be real.

Because they will not always be this tiny. That little button nose will grow. Those wispy lashes will change. One day, you will look back at these newborn photos and realize just how much of your baby was captured in the smallest details.

I love creating the beautiful portraits that fill your walls, but sometimes it is the quiet little details that become the photographs you treasure most. 🥹🤍

There is something so incredibly special about a newborn session. 🤍

I truly love what I do. There is something about capturing those first precious days of bringing home a new life that never gets old. The innocence, the tiny details, the sweet little fingers and toes, the way they fit so perfectly into their parents’ arms. It is such a beautiful reminder of God’s perfect design. ✨

And yes… I have probably spent way too much money on newborn headbands, soft knits, beautiful wraps, and handmade felt stuffies. 😂 But I will never regret it!
I love having a studio full of little details that allow me to customize each session specifically for every baby. Maybe Mom has a favorite color. Maybe Dad wants something simple and timeless. Maybe there is a special theme, hobby, or little detail that makes this baby uniquely theirs.

I love choosing those little pieces and gently placing a tiny handmade stuffy into their perfect little fingers, creating images that feel personal and meaningful to their family.

These are the moments you will look back on years from now and remember just how tiny they once were, how they fit perfectly in your arms, and how much you loved them from the very beginning.

And I feel incredibly blessed that I get to be the one behind the camera preserving those memories for families. 🤍
