If you're thinking that you've been married forever and are DEFINITELY not having any more kids, that I might not be the photographer for you, think again. While I love those early and distinct moments, seeing the way a family grows and changes over time is a privilege and an honor. When you go from the baby photos just as a little one starts to sit, to watching that same toddler run around and get spun in the air, to watching them grow and mature into the person they're on their way to becoming, photographing families is one of my very favorite pastimes.

Another personal favorite thing to photograph is weddings. An entire day dedicated to the love between two people, full of beautiful and unique details that make each couple and wedding special. You can't beat it. And while my available wedding dates for 2026 are almost completely booked, I'm open for 2027 (and might be able to sneak in one or two more this year if you're still looking 😉)

Since it's been awhile since I've posted anything, it seems like a good time for a reminder of what I do. And I'm starting with my first love and absolute favorite type of session, lifestyle newborn photos.

Hi there!

Since I basically dropped of the digital face of the Earth since having a baby, I figured it might be time for a little re-introduction now that I'm coming off of my maternity leave.

I'm Jaime, the face behind the camera of J'aime and J'adore Photography. I'm also a teacher, a dog lover, an avid reader, but more than any of those other things, right now mom is the role that has been defining me the most. But after 12 weeks of not leaving my house, constantly being nap trapped under this cutie, and dreading the day I have to put on real pants again, I'm re-entering the real world.

So thanks for sticking around while I went MIA, and if you have had a baby and then gone back to work, please drop all of your helpful hints and tips in the comments!

I am always grateful when I have the opportunity to photograph a family, but there is something extra special when someone keeps coming back, year after year. I've been photographing this couple since before they were even engaged, and now here they are with their two beautiful girls. Seeing their family grow has been one of the highlights of my career, and I'm so grateful to have ended this photography season with such a special family.

One of my favorite things about in home newborn photos is that you don't just get pictures of the baby (or in this case, babies). You get to capture the whole family. You get to see the faces of two people who had been a family before, but now have grown and expanded and created new life, and who get to go through this whole adventure of being parents together.

It's one of my favorite things about working with first time parents, and I don't think I'll ever get sick of it.
