When I started Mary Christine Photography, these two little girls were my whole world.
They were the reason I picked up my camera, the reason I built a business from the ground up, and the reason I dreamed of creating a career that allowed me to be home while they were growing up.
These photos were taken during those early years. Looking back at them now, I'm reminded that this business gave me exactly what I hoped it would. It gave me the gift of being present for school plays, field trips, afternoon hugs, and countless ordinary moments that turned out to be the most extraordinary of all.
Today, those little girls are teenagers, and just as they've grown into a new season of life, so have I.
This fall, I'll be closing the doors to Mary Christine Photography.
What I never could have imagined all those years ago was how many of your stories would become part of mine. You invited me into some of life's most meaningful moments—welcoming new babies, celebrating first birthdays, documenting your growing families, and capturing seniors as they prepared for their own next chapters. Being trusted with those memories has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
As my girls have grown, our family's needs have changed. This fall, I'll be beginning a new chapter in education. While it's bittersweet to say goodbye to photography, I know it's the right time to embrace what's next.
Many of you have reached out recently about fall sessions, and I'm so incredibly thankful. I'll be completing the sessions I've already booked, along with a few that are currently being finalized. Once those are complete, Mary Christine Photography will officially close.
To every family who welcomed me into your lives—thank you. Thank you for your trust, your kindness, your referrals, and for allowing me to preserve your memories. You've given me far more than a career. You've given me years of purpose, friendships, and memories that I'll always treasure.
I always hoped the photographs we created together would become more meaningful with each passing year. My greatest wish is that they continue to bring your family joy, remind you of this beautiful season of life, and become treasured keepsakes for generations to come.
