The Story of Hannah and Samuel
There was once a woman named Hannah whose heart carried a deep ache. More than anything, she longed to hold a child in her arms, but year after year her prayers seemed to go unanswered. While others celebrated the blessings she desperately wanted, Hannah quietly carried her sorrow, pouring out tears and prayers to God.
One day, broken but full of faith, Hannah knelt before the Lord and whispered a promise: "If You give me a son, I will give him back to You." It was a prayer born from both pain and trust.
God heard her.
In time, Hannah gave birth to a baby boy named Samuel. Every smile, every laugh, every moment she held him was a reminder that God had not forgotten her. Yet Hannah remembered her promise. When Samuel was still young, she brought him to serve in the house of the Lord, placing the child she had prayed for into God's hands, where he lived a life of servitude, and became a great prophet.
