🚨 SPC DAY 1 OUTLOOK – JUNE 24, 2026 🚨

Severe weather is expected across parts of the central Rockies and High Plains today, with an Enhanced Risk (Level 3 of 5) in portions of eastern Wyoming, western Nebraska, and northeast Colorado.

🌪 Tornado Threat: A few tornadoes are possible, especially with discrete supercells in the Enhanced Risk area.

🧊 Large Hail: Very large hail is a major concern, with some storms capable of producing hail larger than golf balls.

💨 Damaging Winds: Strong to severe wind gusts are possible across a broad area from the Plains into portions of the South.

⛈ Additional severe storms are also possible across parts of the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes region.

If you live in or are traveling through any risk area today, stay weather aware and have multiple ways to receive warnings.

🚨 SPC DAY 1 OUTLOOK – JUNE 23, 2026 🚨

A busy severe weather day is expected across parts of the Plains and Mid-Atlantic region.

🌪️ Enhanced Risk (Level 3/5) is in place across portions of eastern Wyoming, western Nebraska, and northeastern Colorado where severe thunderstorms may produce:
• Large to very large hail
• Damaging wind gusts
• A few tornadoes

⚠️ Slight Risk (Level 2/5) extends into parts of Kansas, Oklahoma, and surrounding states.

💨 A separate severe weather threat exists along the Mid-Atlantic coast with damaging winds being the primary concern.

If you live in any risk area, make sure you have multiple ways to receive warnings and stay weather aware throughout the day. Kansas Storm Chasing will be monitoring conditions and providing updates as storms develop.
