A couple of years ago I played around with the idea of Legacy Sessions. I fell in love with the images that I captured of Papa Dale. Well, a few weeks ago I was contacted by Bobbi Ann, (she's Asher's Gigi) and she wanted to do a session of her, her sister, and their Granny! Y'all.....there is just something about the hands of an Elderly person....I'm not sure what it is, its the life that's been lived, the hands that helped calm the chaos, healed the booboos, helped to provide meals, held you when you will sad, or sleepy.....These images have made me look at the over and over...I may have even shed some tears. The details in her face, her hands, the sly grin, the sassy way she sat with her leg up....Yall the image of Bobbi Ann holding her Granny, just made me think, what an honor it must be to hold the woman that spent so many years holding you....

I think I will start offering Legacy sessions, because what you are leaving and the impact you make during your life is your legacy!

Now that the wedding has aired I can share my thoughts. First off let me say a huge thank you to my daughter Madison and Sandy Dilbeck for your tremendous help in shooting the wedding. Having met Liz and Brice when I shot their newborn session I was completely honored when she called and asked me to shoot their wedding. It was probably one of the prettiest weddings I’ve ever been to. The Johnston’s are probably one of the most down to earth, fun loving, genuinely nice families that you could ever meet. The wedding in itself was an amazing experience to see production behind the scenes and to get the idea in your mind that you are part of the show too, when everything in my photographer body wanted to stay out of the way of the video camera. To Liz and Brice, the way that you love each other is very evident when you spend time with the two of you. To be a part of your wedding day was more than an honor, it was something I will cherish for a lifetime. To the Johnston’s, thank you for welcoming us into your home, for providing food, drinks, help, lots of laughs and even rain boots!!! You guys are the absolute best. Every wedding should be filled with all the fall colors, all the love and laughter that your wedding held. I love you guys so big and can not wait to meet baby number 2!! I’ll see you soon!

Big C & Emma!! I dare you to find a sweeter couple, I will wait....First to Carson, how in the world are you a Senior....from the boy riding around in Maddie's blue bug, swimming at the house, eating dinners and watching scary movies (sort of), one of the friends that became like a kid to me..I'm so proud of you!! I hope the remaining of your Senior year is THE BEST! I can't wait to see what the future holds for you. Emma, you are the sweetest girl for Carson...I've never really saw him smile this much, or be as agreeable in pictures...Although he did remember his training from homecoming pictures LOL. I'm thankful for you! Love you both so BIG!
