I believe your photos should feel less like traditional family portraits and more like an editorial of your life together.
No two families are the same, so your photos shouldn’t be either.
Yes, we want the sweet moments, the laughter, the love between you and your children. But I also want the confidence. The connection between you and your partner. The personalities of your kids. And portraits of you as individuals, too.
Because a family session can hold all of it.

Posing is never one-size-fits-all.
We look at the person in front of us, what they’re wearing, their body shape, and how they naturally move. Then we build a pose that feels comfortable, looks natural, and is flattering specifically to them.
For this pose, it was all about creating shape, elongating the body, and giving her a relaxed, confident energy.
And this shot? One of my favorites.

I need to understand what my client is envisioning, how they want to feel and what they want their images to say. And they need to understand what I see for them and what we can create together.
Because when their vision meets mine, that’s usually where the magic happens.
