Class of 2026 parents — I'm offering something new this summer…a Simple Senior Session option for the graduated class of 2026!

Over the years, I've talked to parents who wished they had professional senior photos of their graduate, but their teen wasn't interested in a full custom session. Maybe they didn't want to spend 1–2 hours taking photos, travel to multiple locations, or make a big production out of it...most of my Seniors love all of that, but some understandably don't...

If this sounds like your teen (or actually, young adult), a Simple Senior Session may be for you!

Senior parents, now is a GREAT time to schedule your senior’s photo session!

Well... it's time…Senior Sessions for the Class of 2027 are officially open for scheduling!

If I'm being completely honest, I've been dreading making this announcement. Not because I don't absolutely love photographing Seniors, but because this year it hits a little differently. My youngest is officially a rising Senior, and somehow we've arrived at the season I've been trying not to think about.

For years I've celebrated this milestone with so many amazing families, but now it's my turn for the last time with my own. And while I'm excited for all the memories, adventures, and beautiful senior portraits ahead, I am absolutely not ready to accept that my baby is entering her final year of high school.

One thing I've learned from photographing Seniors year after year is how grateful families are when they schedule their session during the summer before Senior year begins. Once school starts, calendars fill up quickly with sports, activities, college applications, senior events, and all the excitement that comes with this milestone year. A summer session allows you to get ahead of the rush, enjoy a more relaxed experience, and have your images ready for all the moments ahead.

To all my Class of 2027 seniors: this is such an exciting chapter, and I would be honored to help capture it, but I will be BUSY this year, and will be offering limited sessions, so let's start planning your Senior Session soon!!!

My 2026 Senior Season is over! Now it's time to move on to Seniors 2027 (crazy to think it's that time already!) and to other types of sessions that have been put on the back burner these last crazy couple of months!
