If you've been thinking about booking a 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀, now is a great time to get your date on the calendar!

I've put together a quick availability guide below that I'll keep updating as dates are booked. 𝗜𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱/𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲.

A few important things to keep in mind:

🌅 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻? Golden-hour sessions are available on select evenings, but the exact time changes as we move into fall and sunset gets earlier. If golden hour is important to you, just mention it when you reach out and I'll let you know what is available for your date.

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻/𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. Please choose your session length carefully, as I may schedule other sessions or commitments around your booked time.

📅 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! These can be a great alternative if weekends don't work for you 𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲. Just remember that sessions will need to start earlier as we get further into fall.

👩‍👦‍👦 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱? I'm a mom of three and, as many of you might know, I'm finishing up school myself, so my kids' activities and school commitments are a priority. That's why some weekends may have only morning availability—or none at all.

🍂 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱: The availability shown here is also what I'll have to work with if we need to reschedule because of weather or something unexpected. 𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲. Between my family schedule, school, changing sunset times, and limited workable weekends, there are only so many dates I can realistically offer.

🍁 𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀: My Sunflower, Fall & Holiday Minis will most likely be offered on 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 with a very limited number of sessions. I'll share those details as the minis get closer!

📌 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿: Dates and times are 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 and are not secured until I've confirmed your session and received your 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟱𝟬% 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗲.

✨ Senior Sneak Peek ✨

Meet Ella, a Little Miami Class of 2027 senior! She's a three-sport athlete, playing basketball, soccer, and softball, and she's already dreaming about what comes next. She'd love to head south to Florida for college, but is also considering staying closer to home at UK or Notre Dame to pursue Education, with an interest in math education or possibly early childhood.

And of course, Harley got his time to shine and joined in on the photo fun! 🐾❤️ Just like Ella's brother's senior session last year, this family furbaby made an appearance in front of my camera. He's such a good boy!

I love when families come back to me to capture these life milestones, and I can't wait to see Ella and her family again in the spring for her cap and gown photos. Until then, enjoy this (not so little) sneak peek! Jaclyn Cook

With school starting back for many, I'm binging my back-to-school mini sessions back!

I know there can be some frustrations when it comes to school picture time. With these Back to School Minis, instead of the standard quick "smile and next," your child gets a relaxed 15-minute session to laugh, have fun, and let their personality shine. Genuine smiles, adorable photos, and siblings can join in too! ❤️

And yes—even middle and high schoolers can join in, IF you can convince your teen to participate! 😉

Since my weekends are filling quickly with senior sessions, I am offerring these on weekday evenings (Monday-Thursday) in the Maineville area between August 24th-September 2nd. *Weather Permitting* 🍎

Another Class of 2027 senior stepped in front of my camera recently, and I’m so excited to share a glimpse of this beautiful chapter of her life with you.

Meet this incredible East Central High School senior!

As she begins her final year of high school, she's already looking ahead to an exciting future. New York University sits at the top of her college wish list, where she hopes to pursue studies in law and/or business. She's also considering some options closer to home, including Miami University and Purdue, as she explores all of the opportunities ahead of her. No matter where she lands, I have no doubt she'll do incredible things.

It was such a joy getting to capture this exciting season of her life. Senior year is filled with big decisions, exciting possibilities, and so many memories, and I'm honored to preserve a small piece of this chapter through these images.

I have no doubt this is just the beginning of an incredible journey, and I’m excited to continue capturing more of this special season with her as we add another location to her senior session and finish things off with her cap and gown mini session. 🤍

One last Lemonade Mini sneak peek... 🍋

This little lemonade stand has been filled with laughter, sweet smiles, and some of my favorite summer memories. Thank you to all of the wonderful families who joined me this season, it has truly been such a fun couple of weekends!

One of the best gifts that taking photos for everyone has given me is the opportunity to watch families return year after year. Seeing the familiar faces, catching up, and capturing another season of life has become one of my favorite parts of this journey. These are the moments that remind me why I love what I do.

Senior photo season is officially underway! And I couldn't have asked for a more special Class of 2027 senior to kick it off or a more picture perfect evening! 💛

Some sessions are extra special, and this one is definitely one of those.

I have had the joy and privilege of knowing this beautiful girl since the day she was born, and watching her grow into the young woman she is today has been one of those moments that makes you realize just how quickly time flies. Our families have shared so many years together, even before our kids were born, which honestly made capturing this milestone even more meaningful.

Meet this amazing Loveland High School senior!

A lover of books, a talented flute player and drum major, and someone with so much creativity and passion for what comes next. She is currently considering several colleges and exploring exciting areas of study like publishing, foreign language, and communications, and I have no doubt she will do amazing things wherever she lands.

Thank you to her family for trusting me to capture such a special milestone. It truly means more than you'll ever know, and it has been an absolute honor. 🤍 Enjoy the preview and total overshare because I couldn't pick a few favorites as always. 😊

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to get back to editing...and quite possibly cry over every single image on my screen. 🥺 Now I know how I'll likely be emotionally when my own oldest kiddo steps in front of my camera for his senior pictures next year.

Golden Hour... let's talk about it for a second. 😊

There’s just something special about golden hour... the soft light, the warm tones, and the way it brings a little extra magic to your images.

It’s one of the most requested times for photos because it has a way of turning ordinary moments into something that feels a little more timeless.

Here's the part many people don't realize...

Golden hour is exactly what it sounds like, a small window of beautiful light that only happens once each evening. Since that light is so brief, I can only photograph one session during that golden window.

As we move through the months and seasons, our daylight hours get shorter, which means sunset happens earlier and earlier. Those long summer evenings slowly become earlier fall sunsets, making golden hour opportunities even more limited. If Mother Nature decides not to cooperate, a weather reschedule may be necessary, and having some flexibility beyond weekend evenings can make it much easier to catch another beautiful golden hour. On the flip side, choosing a weekday evening session can open up some additional options, simply because there are more golden hour evenings to work with throughout the week.

Whether you're dreaming of a senior session in a field of wildflowers, family photos surrounded by fall color, or simply those warm, glowing sunset portraits, finding the perfect combination of season, location, and light is all part of creating images you'll love for years to come.

❗️A little photographer tip... those dreamy weekend golden hour sessions are some of the first spots to disappear from the calendar.

And that's exactly why golden hour is worth planning ahead of time for. It's not just about the way it makes a photo look, but the way it helps us remember how that moment felt. It's about capturing a feeling, preserving a season of life, and creating memories you'll want to hold onto for years to come.

Sometimes the sweetest memories are made from the simplest moments...a little sunshine, a lemonade stand, and the biggest smiles.

Childhood is made up of these little moments, the ones that may seem ordinary today but become the memories we treasure tomorrow.

Senior girls — if you’ve been dreaming of a wildflower field for your portraits, this one might be for you!

I’m always searching for unique locations that help make each senior session feel personal, beautiful, and completely you.

I came across this little piece of summer magic while scouting locations and immediately started imagining golden light, flowing dresses, and unforgettable senior memories among these blooms.

These beautiful blooms will be here as long as Mother Nature allows. A little reminder that some of the most beautiful backdrops are only here for a season — so if a wildflower field has been on your senior portrait wish list, now is the time to start planning.
