😂📸 BLOOPERS! The kids taught me a lesson...Sometimes you have to pivot before you get the results you're looking for.

Every picture didn't come from the first snap. Sometimes I had to keep shooting until we got the smile we were looking for.

Some needed to make their silly face first. Some needed a high five from Mama D’s, (Destiny). Some wanted their favorite toy, their shades, or just a chance to show me their excitement first.

Whatever it took, it helped us capture the perfect picture for their families.

These are a few of the moments that didn't make the final gallery, but they are some of my favorite bloopers from Picture Day. 😂

📸 This has been a week of firsts! Yes…I’m thankful for every moment! 🙌🏾

In the past 7 days, I’ve celebrated my first year in studio photography, photographed my first official real estate listing, and TODAY I completed my first daycare portrait day. 😳

I want to thank Destiny Mitchell and Mama D’a for trusting AMP Media with this opportunity. I appreciate the Mama D’s team for helping me today! Side note: I’ve turned down every request for children’s pictures because I didn’t have the props or the experience. Thank you to everyone who understood…🙏🏾 This opportunity pushed me outside of my comfort zone and I’m grateful for it. Now the pressure is on to deliver! 😂

One thing that really stood out to me wasn’t just taking pictures…it was watching the culture at Mama D’s. While I was setting up, I listened as the children and parents checked in. The excitement from the staff as they welcomed each child was noticeable. I literally heard them complimenting each child as they walked through the door. It spoke volumes about the culture Destiny has created and the standard she has set. You can tell it’s a group of people fulfilling their purpose and genuinely pouring into these children every day.

When I have kids… Mama D’s, save a spot for them! ❤️

📸🤯 WOW! One year ago TODAY, I stepped into the studio for my first studio photoshoots! And on my first day, I had two families take a chance on me.

What a journey it’s been! The growth, the lessons, the opportunities, and every person who has trusted me behind the camera…I’m grateful for it ALL!

One year later…still learning, still growing, still creating, and STILL SHOOTING LIKE MIKE! 🔥

And we’re just getting started!
