A little behind the scenes from Owen’s senior session! We wrapped up my last senior session of the year with an evening outdoors, his sweet pup Melody, ultimate frisbee, and his Jeep!

I loved that Owen wanted to include so many of his interests in his session. From the locations to the things he brought along, we planned his portraits around him—and I’m excited to share how they turned out!

It’s taken me a little while to share these, but meet the newest member of the Melaro family! Heinrich Von Weinhauer—Hank for short. ❤️

When we brought Hank home, Willie wasn’t too thrilled that we had brought home yet another puppy, but Tucker was pretty excited to have someone who could match his energy! 😂

I am excited to share the image box we created for Annasophia and Miakate with images from their senior portrait session! 🤍

We selected brown leather trim paired with textured herringbone and an acrylic portrait of the girls together for the cover. I love how it all came together!

Inside are their favorite portraits, along with wooden stands so they can display their images and switch them out whenever they’d like.

One of my favorite parts of the process is seeing their portraits become something their family can hold and enjoy for years to come.

I finally got my girls in front of the camera for a belated birthday shoot! This was my first time photographing at TL Blooms Flower Farm, and her beautiful flower field was such a pretty spot for their photos. Thank you, Toni, for sharing it with us!

I loved getting to photograph Miakate and Annasophia and create a senior session that allowed each of them to show off their own personality, while also capturing this special season they’re sharing together.

We started at home with sweet blue eyed Sully before heading to the beautiful flower fields at Lone Oak Farm. I loved incorporating little details throughout their session that made it feel personal to each of them.

Miakate & Annasophia, I hope you love looking back on these images and remembering this exciting time in your lives. Enjoy every minute of your senior year at Knoch! 🎓

Apparently 2026 is my year for twins! 💕 Behind the scenes from my second set of senior twins this year!

It was so much fun photographing Annasophia and Miakate and finding ways to let each of their personalities come through, while also capturing this special season they’re sharing as twins.

Their session also took me to a brand-new location—Lone Oak Farm—and it was definitely worth the drive! 🌸 The flower farm was absolutely gorgeous and so beautifully maintained. You could tell how much thought and care went into the placement of the flowers and creating all of the different areas throughout the farm. The owner was also absolutely lovely and so helpful! I will definitely be adding this one to my list of favorite locations.

And a big thank you to Sonja for grabbing these behind-the-scenes photos and videos for me! I didn’t have my usual helper along for this session, so I really appreciate you capturing some of the fun happening on the other side of my camera. ❤️

One of my favorite parts of the senior portrait experience is seeing everything come together in the end. ❤️

Brooke’s beautiful senior album recently arrived, and I absolutely loved being able to deliver it to her and her family.

Every page tells a little piece of her story — from rowing, to the beautiful outdoor locations we chose, to simply capturing Brooke exactly as she is during this season of her life.

Digital images are wonderful for sharing, but there is just something special about holding your photographs in your hands and turning the pages of an album created just for you.

This is why I love creating artwork for my clients — something tangible that preserves all of those favorite images and memories from such an important year. ❤️
