Everyone knows by now that I do things a little differently around here. Within the last two years of business, I completely changed my mindset on “mini sessions.”

Let’s all be honest that 30 minutes is enough with me to get a variety of photos to choose from. After about 10 minutes, we lose dad’s attention, after about 14 minutes the kids are hungry, and after 20 minutes, all of our cheeks hurt from fake smiling. 30 minutes is definitely enough. 😅

Instead of offering one-day-only, back-to-back photo sessions where everyone feels pressured and rushed, I decided to do things differently.

My greenhouse studio is OPEN DAILY for my clients!

I believe having your photos taken should be something you actually ENJOY, not another thing on your already busy holiday schedule. Get dressed up, head out to dinner afterward at one of our local restaurants, and make an evening out of it!

Sure, we might still have to bribe the kids (and maybe even your significant other) for a few smiles. 😂 But I do my best to make the experience fun so it doesn’t always feel forced!

🎄Exciting and difficult announcements from meeee - YOUR FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPHER!

First of all, I APPRECIATE YOU!!! Seriously. ❤️ I know it’s a lot of information, but I want to make sure everyone is on the same page as we head into the holiday rush!

Thank you for booking with me, recommending me, coming back year after year, trusting me with your photos and allowing me to do what I LOVE for a living.

I genuinely couldn’t do this without you, and I don’t take that for granted.

It is officially NOVEMBER, which means Christmas and holiday photos season. Whether you believe in putting your tree up before Thanksgiving or not...HERE WE GO!!! 😂🎅🏼

With all of that excitement of booking comes two little client PSAs as I am in the busiest (and most wonderful) time of the year!

📸 GALLERY DELIVERY TIMELINES
A little update for everyone who has been patiently waiting on galleries!

*Current sessions: I am working with a 2–3 week delivery goal for all sessions currently in progress.

*Holiday sessions: once I catch up on the currents, these galleries will have a 1-week delivery goal OR LESS!

*Current weddings: Wedding galleries will have an 8–10 WEEK MAX delivery timeline. I must admit I am behind and I apologize greatly.

I know waiting isn’t always the easiest, and I truly appreciate your patience while I work through everything! My biggest goal is to prioritize delivering wedding family and bridal portraits first so you have those images in time for holiday cards, gifts, and all the Christmas things! ❤️

I promise I am working hard behind the scenes to get everyone’s memories edited and delivered as quickly as possible!

📸 SESSION LOCATIONS:
For the months of Nov. and Dec., I will not be able to accommodate any on-location or travel sessions.
Sessions booked through the end of the year MUST take place at one of these locations:

- The Devils Lake Greenhouse Studio
- My families property on Devils Lake - Manitou Beach MI
- OR Suite 223 Studio - Addison MI Rental Studio
