I had such a great time photographing Zen’s senior portraits at Coburn Park!

Zen’s mom and I were close friends in high school, but life got busy and we hadn’t seen each other in years. It was so nice to reconnect, and I was truly honored that she chose me to photograph her son’s senior portraits.

Zen was chill to work with. I learned he's smart, hardworking, and already looking ahead to college next year. Coburn Park gave us plenty of variety, but I especially love the portraits we created by the green shed. That rustic paint and diffuse light set the stage in the most wonderful of ways!

Congratulations, Zen, Class of 2027! I’m excited to see where the next chapter takes you.

What a beautiful way to remember a family vacation in Maine! 💙

This wonderful family met me in Acadia National Park for a three-generation portrait session, with close family friends joining in for some of the photos too. Mom was a little worried about how long the three kids would last, but they were absolutely fabulous! We even made it to two different locations, giving us both sandy beach and rocky coastline for their portraits.
So many happy faces, sweet connections, and gorgeous Acadia scenery. I hope these photographs always bring them back to their time together in Maine!

Visiting Maine with the people you love? A vacation portrait session is a wonderful way to bring home something more meaningful than a souvenir. Openings still available.

This preview is extra special to me!!!

I’ve known Cora’s mom Bridgit since we were 14, so being chosen to photograph Cora’s senior portraits truly meant so much to me. She spent the summer here in Maine working as a camp counselor, and we met up in Camden for her session.

Gardens, flowers, quiet pathways, and the waterfront gave us so many gorgeous settings, but Cora made every one of them shine. She is smart, beautiful, thoughtful, and absolutely going places. I cannot wait to see where life takes her next!

Cora, I had the best time doing these with you, and I’m so glad you chose me for your senior photos. I hope you love them as much as I do!

A family legacy, all gathered in one beautiful place!
Durso Family previews

Four siblings, their families, and the parents at the heart of it all came together for this large family portrait session at Nawandyn Estate in Bridgton, Maine. These are the photographs that become more meaningful with every passing year, preserving not only a family at this space in time, but the joy of simply being together. And just look at Grandma! She is absolutely beautiful! What a smile. ❤️

These are only a few previews from a session filled with so many different family groupings and wonderful moments. I can’t wait for them to see the full collection!

I'm excited to share that I've been accepted into Venture Forward Augusta!

I actually hadn't planned on applying. I learned about the program during a local networking lunch, and after hearing more about it, I thought, "Why not?" I'm grateful to have been accepted into this fully funded opportunity.

I'll be working alongside an incredible group of local entrepreneurs through a business growth program hosted by the Roux Institute. The program focuses on strengthening and scaling small businesses through mentorship, collaboration, emerging technology, marketing, strategy, and hands on support.

This week was our kickoff, and I left feeling inspired and excited for what's ahead. It was wonderful meeting the other business owners and mentors, sharing our goals, and learning from one another.

I believe there's always something new to learn. Investing in my business through opportunities like this means I can continue providing an even better experience for my clients while staying adaptable in a changing world.

I'm looking forward to sharing a few updates along the way as I work through the program. Here's to learning, growing, and building a stronger future.

Watching families grow is one of the greatest gifts of this job.

I photographed Lilly's older siblings over the years, and now it's her turn. It means so much to be trusted by the same family again and again. Thank you for inviting me to be part of these milestones.

Lilly absolutely rocked her senior session at Pineland Farms. She brought great style, a cute smile, and one of the most creative outfits I've ever photographed!
She hand customized her jeans with lace trim, painted flowers, adorable little animals around the hems, and "Senior 2027" down the legs. They were completely her, and I loved every detail.

Here are a few preview favorites. I can't wait for her family to see the full gallery!

Fort Popham never disappoints. We had the perfect evening for these family portraits with beautiful clouds, soft light, rocky coastline, and the beach all to ourselves.

This family had never had professional portraits together before, so it was especially fun watching everyone's reactions as I showed them a few images during the session. We created lots of different combinations, shared plenty of laughs, and I can't wait for them to enjoy these memories for years to come.

📱 Phone Photography Tip: Use Natural Frames
One of the easiest ways to make a photo more interesting is to look for something that can frame your subject.
In these two photos, I used the trees and branches around me to create a natural frame that draws your eye into the scene. Instead of photographing the view by itself, I included elements in the foreground to add depth and help guide the viewer's attention.
The next time you're out for a walk or hike, don't just point your phone at the landscape. Take a few extra seconds to look around. Could you shoot through branches? Between trees? Through an opening in a fence or archway?

Small changes in composition can make a big difference.

Try it on your next adventure and see how it changes your photos!

Happy Pride Month. 🌈

These friends of mine told me they aren't photogenic.
I disagree.
What I see is love, laughter, connection, and the comfort of being completely yourself with another person.
One of my favorite parts of photography is helping people see what everyone else already sees in them.

This month, I'm celebrating love and the beautiful diversity of the LGBTQ+ community. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Aubrey's family has spent summers in Maine for years, so when it came time for her senior portraits, she had the perfect spot in mind: Vaughn Woods, known locally as Hobbitland (and honestly, it lives up to the name). Tucked away with mossy stone bridges and soft little waterfalls, it was the most magical backdrop.

Aubrey's flowing dresses were made for this place. Her confidence, her smile, and that gorgeous hair? They spoke for themselves. We wandered the pathways, laughed a lot, and made some photos she'll treasure for a long time.

From our conversation, it's clear this girl is going places. A future medical professional in the making! Wishing you the absolute best in your senior year, Aubrey! 🩺💫
