The new Monroe County Arena will have their first event, a jackpot race, will be Thursday September 10 and the second will be Thursday September 24. This will exciting and I will be shooting photos again!

Pretty cool event today at the new covered Monroe County Covered Arena! It is really beautifully designed and built making it a first class arena! The entire roof drainage system takes all the rainwater to the small lake down the hill and the lighting is gorgeous!
Valerie Smith, the manager, has already gotten inquiries from big professional associations for events and she plans to have Thursday night weekly events as in the past and big all day events about once a month on Saturdays. The get ready area is under the roof, so horses and riders are protected from the elements. They still have a few details to finish and will have a big event for the Arena on October 23! It took a lot longer than we thought, but the wait was worth it! 🎉🐎🤠🇺🇸

The new Monroe County covered arena opens tonight with riding afterwards. This will be my first photo event in 14 months after various cardio events and left knee replacement! I will post the event schedule as soon as I see it.

What a great night! Can't miss this this!

I am getting a lot better after a year of cardiac and left knee replacement! I can drive a bit again, but my truck is 5 spd manual and the clutch pedal worked out to be manageable! I hope to see many of my friends in the near future!

I had read a great review about Huey Magoo’s chicken and we went tonight in Macon, off Zebulon near I 475! It was terrific and the standard sauce was superb as well. I will say it’s the best available! You can get it fried or grilled, but we got the fried!
