Fade to Black…
In 2018, we took a leap of faith and opened our studio, Exodus Photography/ LoftĒ. We thought it was a great idea to not only operate our photography business, but also open the doors for intimate events. Who knew shortly after opening, there would be a pandemic and the world would shut down? Even in the midst of the pandemic, God allowed us to remain open, when many places were closing. Though events were few, we were still able to celebrate life through portraits. Then eventually, the world opened back up and so did events.

Fast forward to June 2026, after discussing it as a family and prayer, we decided to close the doors that housed Exodus Photography/LoftE with our final day on July 31. Not because we had to, but because it was the best for where we want to be. Exodus Photography is still in business(going on 21 years), but LofE is not. We’re grateful for all of the connections we’ve made. We’re grateful for the eight years in downtown Macon, GA. To remember this moment, we decided to do a final portrait session as a family, in the studio. The doors may be closed, but not our creativity, drive, mind, and soul. Simply put, we can’t put new wine into old wine skin.

A Special Announcement – The Exodus

To our valued clients, guests, friends, and supporters,

After much prayer, reflection, and consideration, we've made the decision to close both the studio and event loft, LoftE after 8 years in downtown Macon, GA.

This space has been so much more than a business. It has been a place where dreams were launched, milestones were celebrated, friendships were formed, and countless memories were made. We’re deeply grateful for every person who walked through our doors, supported our vision, attended an event, booked a service, or encouraged us along the way.

Serving this community has been an incredible blessing, and we will always cherish the relationships and experiences we've shared together. We brought something to this area that displayed excellence and elegance (without traveling to Atlanta) which is the Exodus way. Though the space is closing, we will still operate Exodus Photography and will accept bookings for portrait photography services.

While this chapter is coming to an end, we’re filled with gratitude for the journey and excitement for what God has in store next. Every ending creates space for a new beginning, and we look forward to embracing the opportunities ahead.

Our final day of studio and loft operations will be July 31, 2026.

Thank you for your support, loyalty, prayers, and encouragement throughout the years. You have been an important part of this story, and for that, we are grateful.

Jr. Prom - Butler

Sometimes revisiting our babies after so many years reminds us of a few things: Time is flying by, We’ve been in business for 21 years, we’re getting older, and we’re grateful. When Mom Wesson gave us a call to schedule prom portraits for Butler, it really made our day. It took us back to when we created the infamous, “I got you” portrait with Butler and his dad (who at the time was a MMA fighter), when he was only a few days old. Now he’s a junior in high school, an amazing athlete, driving his dad’s car. We’re so excited to see where he goes. Thanks for allowing us to celebrate this moment with you for your prom.
