High school sweethearts getting ready for forever. 🥹

Spent the prettiest October evening at the Ford House with these two! Michigan gave us a solid 10/10 fall day with the most beautiful colors and golden sunshine. 🍁

I actually photographed Antonia’s sister’s wedding a few years back, so getting to capture another special chapter for their family makes this even sweeter!

I understand everyone loves a deal and wants to save money — but can we normalize professional wedding photography costing what it costs?

There have been SO many posts lately about photographers and videographers canceling, ghosting, or disappearing altogether. And while getting an amazing deal sounds great, sometimes constantly searching for the cheapest option is part of the problem.

Professional photographers have insurance, equipment, backups, software, taxes, years of experience, editing time, business expenses, and honestly… everything has gotten more expensive.

Can we normalize inflation, pricing going up, and understanding that professionals have to charge enough to actually run a sustainable business and still be there for their clients? 😭

Your wedding photos are one of the only things you’ll have left after the day is over. Cheap isn’t always a deal.

Anniversary photos, but make them feel like a memory.

We photographed these two at her family’s home, wandering through the field, hanging with the cows, and letting the whole session feel completely like them. Familiar places always photograph differently when there’s history attached to them, and I love when a location already means something before I ever bring a camera into it.
