The low down:
I am D, a local photographer servicing the Southeast Macomb & St. I specialize in children, family, lifestyle newborn, maternity, engagement, and high school seniors. I am a devoted Mother to 3 beautiful girls, a proud wife to a police officer, and an avid lover of all things wine. Photography came to me unexpectedly at a time when I needed it most – it was like wandering right into

what I was created to do, only I had zero idea that’s what I was heading into. It had me constantly thinking, learning, evolving, and it makes me feel alive.

I picked up a camera and found an instant, captivating love. The Summer of 2011, our firstborn daughter came into this world and 6 days later my husband was off to Afghanistan for a 12 month deployment. Needless to say, my life instantly revolved around caring for our brand new daughter and making sure her Daddy had the ability to still watch her grow and evolve, from 10,000 miles away. So, as you can guess, this meant A LOT of photos were taken of our sweet daughter. The abundance of photos that were taken in those 12 months slowlyyyyy molded me into a passionate photographer of all things emotion. It brings me sincere joy to capture genuine youthful innocence, as well as beautiful connection & affection. Let's shoot some good s**t.
