Alright, I gotta get the gossip! Who the h'ail is the photographer that caused the "no photoshoot" policy at High Falls in Chateaugay, NY?

I called them today to see if they would be open in October for Senior Photos and now due to some ass-hat, they have a strict NO PHOTOGRAPHER policy.

What the?!?

In the words of Joe Biden, "Come on, man!"

R.I.P. - To all the photos I'll never get to take of that majestic waterfall. :(

Y'all! Ausable Chasm is free for locals this Friday, August 21st.

I was literally just there for a Secret Surprise Proposal like two weeks ago, and it is as majestic as I remember.

I woudn't mind going back and I happened to have this Friday available on my calendar. ;)

Super Secret Engagement Proposal at AuSable Chasm in Peru, NY this past weekend. Did she say YES?!?

Of course she did, and she had ZERO clue it was coming.

D contacted me about a month ago with a plan: drive up from the city, camp at AuSable campground with the love of his life, and propose with Rainbow Falls as the backdrop. One problem. They share a device, and she has access to all his messages.

Challenge accepted!

How the heck do you plan a secret photoshoot with a person hours away without contacting them or notifications popping up on their phone or device?

My new Handy Dandy Client Portal. :D

I set up a private notes section he could access through his membership login, where I sent him maps, links, and everything he needed to prepare. No emails. No texts. No risk of her seeing a thing.

His worry that she was going to find out melted away pretty fast after that.
