Your camera has 400 settings. You need 4.
Most of those buttons? You'll never touch them. The menu system? Designed by engineers, not photographers. The problem isn't that you haven't learned enough. It's that nobody told you what to ignore.
Come find out which settings actually matter, and why everything else has been noise.

A note from past presenter and BOD member of Audubon- Shawn Carey — For all the bird lovers in the club.

Hello everyone, I recently posted my latest video to my YouTube channel. Spring has arrived and one bird I look forward to seeing in May and June is the return of Bobolinks. Is the most interesting song of a bird in North America the Bobolink?
Check out My video of a singing male Bobolink and I’ll let you be the judge. Please see the attachment for a picture and the link to the upload.

SAD NEWS: IN MEMORY OF BOB SINGER
A Note from the NECCC Board of Directors
We are sorry to report the loss of a long time NECCC Representative Robert Singer, MNEC. Bob was a very
well-known judge, presenter and hard worker for the photographic community for many years. Prior to his
move to the Cape, he was a member of the Gateway Camera Club and was their NECCC rep for many years. He
was also one of the first program chairman for the Yankee Photographic Society (now disbanded) which held 2
all day seminars each year in Danvers, MA( much like a small NECCC Conference) attended by 300 photo
enthusiasts each time. I had the pleasure of being programming chair with him and remember his
organizational skill and detail to make the functions go off without a hitch. Between the 2 clubs Bob was a
NECCC rep for over 30 years. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him. Below please find an obit from
his friends at the Cape Cod Art Center Club.
Susan Mosser HonFPSA, HonNEC NECCC Steering Director
****************************************************************
Dear Cape Cod Art Center community,
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of a beloved member of the Cape Cod Art Center
family, Bob Singer, MNEC.
Bob was far more than an accomplished photographer. He was a mentor, teacher, leader, and friend whose impact
on our organization and the wider photographic community cannot be overstated. As a co-founder of the Cape Cod
Art Center Camera Club, a past member of our Board of Directors, and a driving force behind the development of
our photography programs, Bob helped shape Cape Cod Art Center into the vibrant creative community it is today.
A Juried Master Artist Member of Cape Cod Art Center and a Master Member of the New England Camera
Club Council, Bob's photography earned recognition throughout the United States and around the world. His
images received hundreds of awards, appeared in national publications, and found homes in galleries, offices, and
private collections across North America and Europe.
Yet those who knew Bob will remember him most for his generosity. For more than four decades, he
shared his knowledge, passion, and encouragement with photographers of every skill level. Through countless
classes, workshops, critiques, competitions, and conversations, he inspired generations of artists and helped
many discover not only how to create stronger photographs, but how to see the world more thoughtfully. Bob's
influence extends far beyond the images he created. It lives on in the photographers he mentored, the programs
he helped build, the friendships he fostered, and the community he helped create.
We extend our deepest condolences to Bob's family, friends, students, and the many photographers
whose lives he touched. His legacy will remain an enduring part of Cape Cod Art Center, and he will be deeply
missed.
