Just seconds before walking down the seemingly endless aisle of the breathtaking Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, New Jersey, a bride pauses to take it all in. The anticipation. The excitement. The emotion. The realization that her life is about to change forever.

Some of the most unforgettable wedding photos happen after the sun goes down. ✨

This stunning nighttime portrait was created during our creative portrait session at the beautiful The Rockleigh in Rockleigh, New Jersey. One of my favorite challenges as a wedding photographer is finding new ways to incorporate a venue’s architecture, landscapes, and ambiance into every image so that no two couples ever receive the same photographs.

While many photographers pack up once the daylight fades, some of the most artistic and dramatic images are created at night. By blending intentional lighting, composition, and the breathtaking grounds of The Rockleigh, we created a portrait that feels timeless, cinematic, and uniquely theirs.

Not only does it give us the opportunity to create beautiful images together, but it allows us to build a genuine connection long before the wedding day arrives. By the time your wedding comes around, you’ll feel comfortable in front of my camera, confident in my direction, and able to focus on what matters most, each other!

This engagement session took place at the breathtaking Van Vleck House & Gardens in Montclair, New Jersey, one of my favorite locations for engagement photography. From the historic estate to the stunning gardens and winding pathways, every corner offers the perfect backdrop for timeless, romantic, and artistic photographs.

My goal during every engagement session is to create images that feel authentic to each couple while showcasing the beauty of the location in a unique and creative way. No two couples are the same, and no two sessions should ever look the same.

This photo was created during dusk portrait time at the breathtaking Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, New Jersey. A venue that never stops inspiring creativity. Just moments after saying “I do,” we stayed behind in tbd breathtaking chapel at Park Savoy Estate and created this masterpiece. ✨
One of the things I love most about wedding photography is transforming a location that lasts forever in a piece of art that will be cherished for generations. The stunning architecture, elegant details, and timeless beauty of the chapel provided the perfect backdrop for this newly married couple as they celebrated the beginning of their forever.
My goal is always to create photographs that go beyond documenting a wedding day. Photos that belong in the center spread of an album, displayed as wall art, and passed down as part of a family’s legacy.

One of the most important parts of the wedding experience happens long before the wedding day itself… the engagement session.

For me, an engagement session is about much more than creating beautiful photos. It’s about building a genuine connection with my couples, helping them feel comfortable in front of the camera, understanding how they interact naturally, and creating trust before one of the biggest days of their lives.

This engagement session took place at the breathtaking Branch Brook Park in Newark, New Jersey, home to one of the largest collections of cherry blossom trees in the United States. The beautiful scenery provided the perfect backdrop, but what truly made these images special was the connection between these two. Especially very close to the church will they will be getting married at; the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart.

By the time the wedding day arrives, my couples already know exactly what to expect. They feel confident, relaxed, and free to enjoy every moment while I create the artwork that will tell their story for generations.

The result? More authentic moments, more meaningful photographs, and an experience that feels effortless from start to finish.

When you have a venue as breathtaking as Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, New Jersey, the goal is always to create more than just a photo… it’s about crafting artwork that tells a story.
