I always encourage my couples to build small, intentional moments into their wedding day… like stepping away from everything for a few minutes to read their private vows to each other.

At the gorgeous Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, New Jersey, we were able to create the perfect setting for this intimate exchange while capturing all of the genuine emotion that came with it.

And moments like these come together so beautifully because a wedding day is truly a team effort. When photographers, planners, cinematographers, florists, venue staff, hair and makeup artists, and every vendor work together with the same goal, it gives our couples the space to slow down, be present, and actually experience their wedding day.

This wedding at Felina in Ridgewood, New Jersey was the perfect example. When the weather made outdoor portraits impossible, we simply shifted gears and took advantage of the incredible architecture, textures, light, and beautiful backdrops Felina provides indoors.

As a wedding photographer, my goal is never to depend on perfect weather or perfect conditions. It’s about knowing how to create beautiful, intentional photographs in any environment; rain or shine. 📸

There’s something incredibly special about creating engagement portraits at the very place where a couple will soon say “I do.” 🤍

For this engagement session at Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, New Jersey, we explored the beautiful grounds of their wedding venue; creating photos that feel romantic, cinematic, and completely personal to their story.

An engagement session is more than just beautiful photos. It gives us the opportunity to connect, get comfortable working together, and discover the locations, light, movement, and angles that photograph best. Then, when the wedding day arrives, everything feels natural.

There are certain details on a wedding day that tell you something about the person; and when the groom’s prized collector car is part of the story, it deserves more than just a snapshot. 🏎️

For this dramatic portrait at The Park Savoy Estate in Florham Park, New Jersey, I wanted to bring together three things: the couple, the architecture of this iconic New Jersey wedding venue, and a car that holds real meaning to the groom.

This is exactly what my signature style of wedding photography is about using dramatic lighting, intentional composition, and the elements that are personal to each couple to create something completely their own.

Because years from now, the photograph shouldn’t just show what your wedding looked like.

These 10 photographs of the bride and groom walking out of the iconic entrance of Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, New Jersey are exactly that. The movement, the architecture, the connection between them…each frame adds another piece to the story.

Tradition, culture, and love…turned into art. ✨

Photographing a wedding is about so much more than creating beautiful portraits. It’s about understanding who my couples are, what they value, and the traditions and customs that make their wedding uniquely theirs.

Nicholas, Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Roseland, New Jersey, I wanted to create more than a beautiful portrait; I wanted to showcase the breathtaking frescoes that surround the bride and groom. The incredible ceiling artwork, rich colors, and timeless architecture deserved to be just as much a part of the photo as the couple themselves.
