Whether you're updating family photos, celebrating a milestone, documenting your growing family, or simply wanting beautiful portraits of the people you love most, my Summer Mini Sessions are designed to be easy, fun, and stress-free.

For over 10 years, I've had the privilege of photographing families throughout the Pacific Northwest. One of the things I love most about family photography is that no two families are the same. My goal is never to create stiff or overly posed images—instead, I focus on capturing genuine connection, natural interactions, and the little moments that make your family uniquely yours.

My photography style is true-to-color, creating timeless images that reflect the beauty of the moment as it really was. During your session, I'll guide you through a blend of classic portraits and candid moments, ensuring your gallery feels both polished and authentic. You'll walk away with images that not only look beautiful but truly represent your family and this season of life.

This summer, you'll have the opportunity to choose from some beautiful locations:

🌿 Hovander Park
Beautiful gardens, open fields, mature trees, and timeless Pacific Northwest charm.

🏖️ Semiahmoo Beach
Sandy shores, driftwood, and stunning coastal views that create a light and airy beach backdrop.

🌊 Iverson Beach
A peaceful waterfront setting with gorgeous evening light and natural beach scenery.

🌿 Under the Willow Tree – Camano Island (Private Property)
A quiet, private setting with a beautiful willow tree, soft natural light, and a dreamy, intimate feel. Perfect for timeless, nature-filled portraits.

🏔️ Heather Meadows – Mount Baker
A stunning alpine location with sweeping mountain views, open meadows, and dramatic Pacific Northwest scenery. Perfect for bold, scenic portraits with a mountain backdrop. (additional fee applied due to distance of location and sessions are 20min for $300 and full gallery included!)

- 10-minute session
- All the best images from your session edit and you can choose 10 (or buy full gallery for an additional $100)
- Professionally edited online gallery
- High-resolution digital downloads
- Immediate family included (additional family members or friends can be added for an additional fee)
- Choice of location
- Only $125! $25 non-refundable fee at booking and then the rest due at session, cash preferred or a fee will be added for any online payments.

I understand that family photo sessions can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially with little ones. That's why my approach is relaxed, efficient, and focused on making the experience enjoyable for everyone. I provide gentle direction while allowing space for genuine interactions, laughter, and connection. Some of the most meaningful images come from those in-between moments.

These mini sessions are perfect for families, couples, maternity, seniors, and anyone wanting updated portraits in a beautiful outdoor setting.

The power of a good mood board 🤍✨

A strong mood board doesn’t limit creativity — it directs it.

When a brand sends over a clear, thoughtful mood board, it becomes the blueprint for the entire shoot. It tells me the feeling you want to evoke, the colors you’re drawn to, the lighting direction, the level of polish, the emotion behind the campaign. It eliminates guesswork and replaces it with intention.

From there, everything aligns:
• Styling choices
• Location selection
• Model direction
• Posing
• Cropping for web vs. social
• Even the editing tone

The result? You get exactly what you envisioned.

One of my favorite parts of working with brands is receiving your mood board. It tells me everything — the feeling you want, the colors you’re drawn to, the emotion behind the campaign, the story you’re trying to tell.

When you send inspiration, I don’t just recreate it — I study it.

I look at:
✨ Lighting direction
✨ Color palette
✨ Composition and spacing
✨ Styling choices
✨ The emotion behind the images

From there, I intentionally build the shoot around your vision so the final gallery feels aligned, cohesive, and true to your brand identity.

But here’s where the magic really happens 👇

While I absolutely execute what’s requested, I also create beyond it. I capture additional angles, alternate poses, tighter details, vertical crops for social, and unexpected in-between moments that often become client favorites.
