I am Aimee: wife to a wonderful husband, mom to two children who are constantly making my heart flutter, and photographer-- chaser of sweet moments, and of beautiful light. I love letting my kids get dirty outside, and I love planning adventures to new places. When you meet me, you’ll notice that I’m quiet and friendly. Kiddos love me for getting down on their level and chatting about silly things

. I guess that I can be somewhat awkward, because my loved ones affectionately call me Awkward Aimee-- but this usually helps to get true smiles and real laughs during family sessions! I am a kind soul with a silly personality. Becoming a parent has made me appreciate the small things in life-- the moments that often are forgotten, but are indeed the most important. The fleeting feeling you get from unprompted cheek kisses or spontaneous laughter are deeply important to me, and are what I strive to capture for my clients. Because those are the pictures you will come back to time and time again. Those are the pictures that make you FEEL instead of simply seeing.

Perfect family photos. And to clarify, perfect does not mean no hair out of place, or everyone’s ’good side’, or a perfectly curated background. Perfect means the image captures who you are, it means it makes you feel something, it means the photos bring you right back to that moment. A ‘perfectly’ cheesed photo does not make you feel much. But authentic photos full of whimsy and love? THOSE will make you stop and think about just how wonderfully full your life truly is.

Hey folks, my pricing is getting an update today. It’s been four years since the last time I raised prices and I’ve held off for a long while, but it’s time. That being said, I’d love to fill up some remaining spring/summer spots before I open my calendar for fall, so if you are interested in a session for June, July, or August, I am happy to reserve the old prices for you if booked within the next week (session fee paid and contract signed). This will be the very last chance to get in at my old rates!

Fyi, if you already have a session on the calendar with me, the old prices will still apply. The new prices are for new bookings only.

There’s a children’s book, The Littlest Family’s Big Day by Emily Winfield Martin, that’s been a longtime favorite in my house. Early in the book it says, “so they set out on a wander to see what they would find.” I love the use of wander as a noun rather than a verb. And that’s exactly how I want your family session to feel for you— a wholesome wander in the company of those you love best, just soaking up the little things together. What tiny joys can you find together?

Last weekend, I tried to post in my stories small snippets of our family’s whole day as we took a little road trip to the shore. Guys, it’s SO HARD to stay present while also trying to make quality content!! I gave up once we were actually at the ocean because I just wanted to be able to explore with my kids without the pressure of capturing it in an Instagram-worthy way.

It was such a good reminder of why I photograph families the way that I do— their natural selves just existing with their kids. I focus on making sure to capture all those tender moments while you can just be present with your people. You come away with beautiful photographs and still got to be completely focused on the moments. If your family’s connection is what you want to preserve, take me along on a little adventure so we can get the best of both worlds.

Welcome to my new studio space in Leominster, MA. After ten years having a tiny studio in a spare room of my house, I took the leap and started my lease here in January. I’ve already had some lovely sessions in this space and can’t wait to see what the rest of this year will bring.

As always, I will still be offering both studio sessions AND on-location sessions. The studio is a great option for newborn photos if you don’t love the look of your house or don’t feel like prepping it for photos during early postpartum.

It is also always a wonderful option for family photos if you’re wanting something different than your usual, and during the cold months when I’m not offering outdoor sessions. From cuddle parties to pillow fights to games and family story time, we can make so much magic together!
