Sometimes all you need is a small decorative chair and a plant to give your photoshoot a something a little "extra."

Had some fun today reimagining one of my favorite dance photos taken with Mira from our shoot last year. In my first version it was darker and moodier. I wanted to see what it would look like with a different color palette.

Last weekend I had a small Open House event at my studio and invited people in for fun photoshoots. It was a blast and I will for sure do it again!

I was able to capture headshots, brand images, fashion, modeling... you name it! Kept me on my toes and I love what we created for each person.

I know it is hard for you to venture in for a headshot or branding session with any photographer. I appreciate that you do it and adore working with all of you. I always love what we create and you crush it every time!

I know most people are nervous to have their photo taken but promise I will make it an enjoyable experience and we will capture great images for you.

Does your company need creative team photos that showcase both the personality and energy of your company?

I loved this recent shoot with Colorado Green Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. They wanted to capture headshots (which we did for each person) and also some group photos. One photo to show that they are fun and laid-back and the other with a "Sandlot" feel to it and more of a brand presence.

I think we nailed it and I can't wait to see all of their photos displayed on their updated website!

Let's talk environmental backdrops!

I have been working for a couple of years with backdrops from in my studio. I especially love their environmental backdrop options and even had them design several from some of my own photos last year!

It is nice to have these options for nature, office or street-scenes in the studio as it makes it easy to create with variety. Also because Colorado has goofy weather. Sometimes going outdoors just isn't an option. :)

Last Fall I had the amazing opportunity to attend a small workshop with the super-talented where we got to play all-day in his studio with stunning backdrops, shadows and lighting.

Of course it helps to have amazing models provided and fun costuming as well! Thank you , , and .cordova

I can easily and happily create any of these kinds of darker and moodier looks in my studio anytime.

2025 was a whirlwind! I am finally catching up and thought that I should start with showcasing the beautiful Kanyada!

Kanyada reached out to me last Fall as she was embarking on her career in modeling. Specifically she was interested in runway and print modeling. In our session she was fabulous to work with and we were able to capture a huge variety of poses, vibes and outfits for her.

This was a favorite session of mine for sure last year and she since has gone on to become a working model. Congratulations Kanyada!
