As we wrap up October—which feels crazy to even be typing—I wanted to share a session that means so much to me. 🤍

I had the privilege of capturing a sweet coworker of mine and her beautiful family. She is walking through a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, and I want to take a moment to acknowledge the strong, kindhearted woman she is. She is such a sweet person, and it was an honor to capture the love surrounding her.

These photos feel especially meaningful, and I hope they serve as a reminder of just how deeply she is loved. Sessions like this remind me why I do what I do—the hugs, the smiles, the people we hold closest. There is so much worth remembering in the season we’re in, even when that season is hard.

As Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close, please join me in praying for her as she continues treatment—for healing, strength, comfort, and peace for her and her family. May she feel supported and loved through every step ahead. 🩷

Take the photos. Get in the frame with the people you love. You don’t need a perfect moment to capture something precious.
