This is one of my favorite double exposure photos. Those decorative doors made a wonderfully unique backdrop with the kind of architectural detail I love to find. 🤍

This is a friendly PSA for couples planning an elopement, especially for SoCal beaches: PLEASE RESEARCH THE PERMIT REQUIREMENTS.

I hate to come on here and vent but I’m getting really tired of these elopement inquiries who act like I’m the problem for asking about whether or not permits have been approved/requested. Lack of proper permits can result in fines and even potentially misdemeanor charges, varying depending on the city.

And also, what is wrong with the officiants who aren’t mentioning all of this to the couple? 😩🫠

There’s so much more to wedding videography than pressing record. Between setting up camera rigs and gimbals, syncing multiple camera angles and audio recordings, and editing everything into a finished video, the work continues long after the wedding day. 
Over the past year, I’ve spent countless hours editing, to the point that I’ve barely had time to see friends or enjoy a life outside of work. It’s made me realize that I need to make some adjustments to my services and workflow to create a more sustainable balance while continuing to deliver the quality and creative detail I want every couple to receive. 
My revised wedding collections offer different levels of video coverage to suit different priorities and budgets, from photography paired with a minimal video highlight to a more comprehensive cinematic experience. Every collection combines photography and videography, while my premium collection also includes full-length video edits, digital and film photography, and Super 8. 
I’ve removed certain extras from my standard collections to streamline my workflow, improve turnaround times even more, and give couples more flexibility in choosing the coverage that matters most to them. 
With so many wedding vendors leaving the industry after realizing their businesses aren’t sustainable long-term, I want to make thoughtful changes now to protect my creativity, avoid burnout, and ensure I can continue doing this work for years to come.
