A one-of-a-kind blend of modern performance and vintage character, the Chameleons feature distinctive aberrations, expressive flares that never overwhelm the image, and high resolving power with a soft falloff toward the edges of frame.
This custom set features a unique gold tuning, bringing warmth to the flares while giving the overall image a subtly cooler tone.
The optical design is reminiscent of Panavision’s original anamorphics with breathing more notable in the vertical axis.
The original blue-flare Caldwell Chameleons have been used on The Mandalorian, Mrs. Davis, and Silo.
