For me, 3 outfits tends to be the sweet spot.

It's enough variety to build a strong gallery without turning the session into a marathon. Once you start pushing into 6 or 7 outfits, most clients are running low on energy, and it usually shows in the photos.

And yes... n00d absolutely counts as an outfit.

In fact, those images often require even more creativity and intention to make them feel tasteful, elegant, and effortless.

My typical session is 3 outfits, and that's worked well for years.

👀 Let's settle a debate...

How much time are you spending retouching each image?

Are you the photographer zooming in at 400% for 20-30 minutes per photo?

Or have you built a workflow that gets beautiful, consistent results without spending your entire day behind a computer?

Here's my take:

Your clients aren't hiring you because you can move sliders longer than everyone else.

They're hiring you because you make them feel incredible when they see their photos.

If a preset helps you edit faster, stay consistent, and deliver images you're proud of, that's not cutting corners. That's working smarter.

The best editing workflow is the one that gives your clients amazing results while giving you your time back.

Doubling on yesterday's point about creating dynamic images without having to get new gear, placing any object between your lens and your subject, creates a higher interest image than without it.

Foreground bokeh you can use:
🌴 Plants
📱 The reflection of your cellphone
🍬 A candy wrapper

Literally anything...No need for any expensive f1.2 lenses, just start creating with whatever you have at the moment and make sure your clients are having fun along the way.

As photographers, we get so caught up on gear, getting that new lens, having cleaner ISO but forget what actually makes images dynamic....

Everyone is a critic online, but not everyone creates and that's the difference.

It's easy to point out flaws. It's easy to leave a comment. It's easy to tell someone what they would've done differently.

What's hard is creating something and sharing it with the world anyway.

As photographers, we'll all hear opinions about our work. Some helpful. Some not.

That's why your confidence can't come from likes, comments, or outside validation alone.

For me, photography has always been about:

✨ Helping people see themselves differently
✨ Creating images that actually mean something
✨ Building a life doing work I genuinely love

Everything else?
The numbers, the algorithm, the opinions...
That's just the bonus.
Keep creating.

Couldn't decide if smile or smize should go first, I'll rearrange once the people vote in!

This was a lingerie shoot from this past week with ,where I tested true mixed lighting, natural and artificial light dancing together to create a more commercial look.

I shot some incredible BTS and talk-thrus for this one so it might end up going as extra content for The One Light Affair (Mixed lighting edition)
