End of an era. Doug was instrumental within the Nor Cal fishing industry working with orgs and fisherman keeping nonsense regulations at bay. He was a critical in a lot of the CA behind the scenes battles and will be missed greatly. If you ever fished tournaments on Lake Shasta, it’s because of him.

Doug LaMalfa, whose district represented much of California's northernmost region, has died at age 65. He was a strong supporter of his rural constituents and worked to support wildfire victims and survivors.
