Now live on Jerk Of All Trades (dot) ORG. I’ve been working on this one since Sunday night. After the Ramones 50th Anniversary tribute at Hollywood Forever, I ended up at Canter’s Deli with three cups of coffee in me, and didn’t go to sleep till 9 am. Today, I still haven’t showered. But it’s finally up, and now that it’s published, I’m going to wash up, put on Rock ‘N’ Roll High School, and finish my bagel. Gabba Gabba Hey.

Hey Ho! Let’s Go! 👊🏽💥 still blown away by the mind melting insanity of the RAMONES 50th Anniversary Tribute at Hollywood Forever Cemetery celebrating their first album, number 1 with a bullet 😎there was no other place on the planet 👁️ would have rather been than right where 👁️ was, amongst my people. It felt like a RNRHS reunion with all the old friends and familiar faces, and such a treat to see so many new fans at the event. God Bless the RAMONES . Greatest band in the world. To have been born in their lifetime AND to have been able to see them live, ANd photograph them is nothing I take for granted. I consider myself one of the lucky ones, and incredibly… blessed. 🙏🏽 love you forever Joey, Johnny, DeeDee, Tommy, Marky, Ritchie, Clem, and CJ.

forever grateful to Arturo Vega for giving this kid with a camera a chance, and a photo pass June 1995 to photograph the RAMONES. It was an event that changed my life!! and many thanks to Linda Ramone👑 for helping keep their legacy alive and making sure the world never forgets what they gave us 🤘🏽RAMONES luv forever. take it CJ

Felt like I was back in the 90’s seeing Shadow Project once again!🥀🖤 what a hauntingly gorgeous evening before and after the show. I can’t even begin to express how f*€king beautiful it was to see Eva O. onstage again with Rikk Agnew, the lovely Gitane Demone, and William Faith!! X-Christian Death members celebrating the legendary life of Rozz Williams thru Nico’s film. Thank you Amy Jonas for making another night like this possible!!! So much gratitude to you for all that you’ve done . GITANE I am forever in your debt, and Rikk, thanks for gifting me your guitar pic. 👁️ will cherish it forever. Yours eternally, M. 🥀🖤

I’m grateful for my darkness and for the times I’ve struggled, that I’ve been lost, and even found myself in some really dark places. It’s given me a deeper understanding of people who have been there too, and I’m grateful that all of it has gotten me right here, today.

It’s easy to drown in all our distractions that are right at our fingertips, but it doesn’t matter how much money you’ve got, how big your house is, how fast your car goes or how many followers you have. None of that matters when you’re trying to find peace within yourself.
Sometimes we have to go through some real pain and confusion just to find our way. I don’t believe that you really know yourself until you’ve been through some $h!t. I’m not on my pedestal here. Believe me, my roots are dark and deep, and I’ve been lost and forgot who I was more than once.
But there is a way out, and I know it can get better. the hardest parts of our lives are not meant to define us, but lead us on the path to something greater. here’s to us all finding peace and love in our own way. 🥀💫🫶🏼

After all is said and done, I’m choosing the good day. Life is too short, as my mother would say, and there are too many beautiful things ahead of me and right in front of me to give my energy to anything else.
Choosing gratitude and peace, and to continue to make more things that make me happy.

Lately, we’ve been experiencing so many high-profile losses, and the grief that comes with losing people we’ve grown up with, admired, or loved can be and often is quite devastating. Now imagine trying to understand that kind of loss as a child, and having to hear that someone you love is gone. How do you explain something so permanent to someone who is still learning how to understand the great big world around them? I’ve stood very intimately with death, and experienced loss at a very young age… I have also been blessed with the privelage of writing a book or two, which is why I wrote Goodbye Feather. 🕊️📖

I felt there wasn’t enough literature to help children understand and navigate through their emotions in a healthy way. As we grow older (for those of us granted that luxury in life), we understand this is part of life. Sadly.

I chose a feather 🪶because, in Native culture, the feather is the closest gift of the Earth that connects us to the heavens and the spirits in the sky.
Sabrina lent her incredible artistic hand to the illustrations of this book (and its cover). WOW!
Goodbye Feather offers children creative ways to process grief through encouragement, drawing, and talking about their feelings. This 35-page book also promotes spelling and vocabulary, and is a great book to read with children. It’s also an excellent resource for educators, therapists, and hospice centers. Goodbye Feather was inspired by my dear friend Tami Arnold, who left us July 4, 2026. So this book carries an even deeper meaning for me, and is a tribute to the beautiful spirit she was.

Goodbye Feather is available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle. I hope you’ll check it out, share it, and enjoy our book. 🕊️📖
Thank you for reading. ❤️

3 days away from a dynamite night of us cretins packin’ the Hollywood Forever Cemetery to celebrate the official RAMONES 50th Anniversary tribute. And yes… this event is SOLD OUT!!!

A double feature screening is in store for us, and a special live performance by Cretin Family, with some of the coolest cats in the biz coming together to kick out the jams!!!
Take it CJ “1-2-3-4!” 👊🏽💥

My history documenting the Ramones legacy goes back to 1995, in both NYC and Los Angeles. A decade later, my old pal Arturo Vega invited me to photograph the unveiling of Johnny’s statue at Hollywood Forever. We’ve lost some of the best, there’s no question about that, but the spirit of the Ramones continues and never misses a beat.

Hey Ho! Let’s Go!

RAMONES luv forever!!!
