I loved all of the beautiful details of this day. Kaitlins gorgeous embroidered floral dress, their love of troll dolls being represented, and cards from loved ones hanging on the walls.

Your wedding day should be a representation of you and your love. At the end of the day the wedding industry and current social media trends are meaningless unless given meaning. Your wedding day will be always be special and unique because your love and relationship is.

Some questions to ask yourself if you’re currently wedding planning:

Does this tradition/detail/design resonate and excite us?

How can I include more authentic representations of us?

How do I want to feel on my wedding day? Does my timeline allow for that and if not how can I add that in?

What vendors and people will help bring the feelings and vision I have for my wedding day to life?

Hi friend, it’s Jenny Markham. It felt time to reintroduce myself, the person behind the camera and this account!

I’m so grateful to do work that lights me up. Photography has been my passion for over the last decade and it’s something I obsess over more than anything in this world.

I am inspired by connection. The connection between humans. Between lovers. Our connection to nature and the world around us. I am an observer and through photography I am able to take in and be apart of such special moments and stories.

I am still booking a few more weddings for 2024 + 2025🫶

Tyler and Nikki had traveled from Texas to spend the holidays with family here in Newport Beach. Little did Nikki know that Tyler had a surprise planned for her as they took a stroll overlooking the beach.

Raindrops fell softly around them as Tyler got down on one knee, with a beautiful engagement ring in his hand. Since rainy days are few and far between in Orange County it felt very special and symbolic of life and this new beginning for their growing family.

It was such an honor to capture this special moment in your lives. Congratulations Nikki and Tyler!🍾🥂
