October. Breast cancer awareness month. This year, it hits much harder than any year prior. Pink has always been the color for October. We always wore pink in support, dyed our hair in honor of our friends' mothers that were affected.

August 18, 2026, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since, she has undergone a double mastectomy with reconstruction. She's healing well and getting better every day.

October now has a much more personal meaning to me. I'm so incredibly honored to have been asked to share another incredible story of a battle with breast cancer. Each battle looks different. Different stages, journeys and outcomes. Each diagnosis changes someone's life forever. Don't be afraid to love and show your scars.
