THIS IS THE MOMENT THAT MAKES IT ALL WORTH IT.

After being hit on the road, this dog was scared and unsure who to trust.

Moments like this take patience. You can't rush them. You have to give the dog time, build trust, and let them feel safe again.

And when it all finally comes together, there's no better feeling.

These are the moments that stay with you for a lifetime. The moments that remind us why we do what we do.

Being a drone pilot is about so much more than flying a drone. It's about helping bring them home.

This is why we do it. ❤️

HOURS DEDICATED TO THE SEARCH.

Some searches take minutes. Others take hours, and sometimes we're out there all night.

When a family is missing their pet, we're not watching the clock. We're studying maps, checking every possible location, changing angles, and doing everything we can to bring them home.

Not every search ends the way we hope, but every animal deserves our best effort.

Long nights. Countless hours. One mission. Leave no pet behind.

That's the dedication behind Nighthawk Drone Services.

We bring them home.

DROVE OVER 2½ HOURS FOR THIS…

This hunter called me needing help finding his buck. He was over 2½ hours away and asked if I'd be willing to make the drive.

My answer? Let's go find your buck!

After talking through the shot, reviewing the information he gave me, and studying the maps, I had a pretty good feeling about this one.

But you never really know until you get the drone in the air.

We made the drive, got everything set up, and launched the drone.

And in under 3 minutes… we had our answer!

We were able to guide the hunter right to his buck, get him on the tailgate, and save the meat.

This is why I love what we do. Sometimes getting answers before pushing farther into the woods can make all the difference, especially when property lines are close.

Over 2½ hours of driving, and I'd do it all over again tomorrow.

LOST THE BLOOD… AND THIS BUCK WAS BURIED IN THICK COVER.

This hunter needed answers after losing the blood trail, so we brought in the thermal drone.

It was the middle of the day, cloudy skies, and some incredibly thick cover. Not exactly an easy search.

But sometimes it's all about finding that one angle that changes everything.

We finally got eyes on his buck, and what we were able to see gave this hunter some much-needed answers.

Take a close look at where this buck was hiding. Would you have spotted him?

FALL IS A DRONE'S TIME TO SHINE.

There's a reason we love this time of year, especially when it comes to helping hunters recover deer.

We fly thermal drones year-round searching for lost pets, even during the summer when the woods are covered in thick, green canopy. And let me tell you, that leaf cover can make finding a heat signature extremely challenging.

But as fall rolls in, everything starts to change.

The leaves begin drying up, the canopy starts thinning out, and gaps begin opening between the trees. Areas that were nearly impossible to see into just a few weeks earlier start becoming much more visible from above.

And that's where thermal drones really start to shine.

For the archery hunter, this can make a huge difference. Maybe you've lost the blood trail. Maybe you're worried about pushing a wounded buck across a property line. Or maybe you just need answers about whether that deer is still alive before making your next move.

Having a better view through the timber gives us a much better opportunity to locate that deer, evaluate what we're seeing, and help the hunter make an informed decision.

Thermal isn't magic. We still have limitations, and experience behind the controls matters just as much as the equipment.

But every leaf that falls gives us another opportunity to see what was hidden before.

This is the time of year we spend all year preparing for.

Recovery Through Experience.

HOURS OF SEARCHING. FOG. RAIN. AND WE WEREN'T GIVING UP.

We drove a good distance to help this hunter when he needed us most. What followed was hours of searching and one of those nights that tested our determination.

The fog got so thick we had to ground the drone. Then came the rain. We ended up setting up a canopy just to keep working through the conditions.

But we weren't ready to call it quits.

We kept adjusting, kept searching, and stayed out there most of the night because we knew how much finding this buck meant to this hunter.

And all that persistence finally paid off. WE FOUND HIS BUCK!

These are the recoveries that mean the most. Not because they were easy, but because we had to work for every bit of them.

When a hunter puts his trust in us, we're going to give that search everything we've got.

No guarantees. Just 1000% effort.

Recovery Through Experience.

YOUR PET HAS BEEN MISSING FOR WEEKS OR EVEN MONTHS? DON'T LOSE HOPE! ❤️🐾

If you're missing a pet right now, I want you to read this story. It might be exactly what you need to hear today.

This is the story of a cat named Jocko.

Jocko went missing, and his owner did everything she could think of to bring him home. She put up flyers, shared posts on social media, talked to neighbors, and searched for answers.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. Winter came and went, and still no Jocko.

Then, after months of uncertainty, one phone call changed everything.

Someone had reported a possible sighting of a cat near an abandoned property. And this is exactly why I preach so much about how valuable sightings are when it comes to recovering missing pets.

She went to investigate the sighting and set up a trail camera and a humane trap. Sure enough, there he was. Jocko was still alive after being missing for approximately EIGHT MONTHS!

She continued working the area and was eventually able to safely trap Jocko and bring him HOME! ❤️

Think about that for a minute. Eight months of wondering, worrying, and not knowing if her cat was even alive. And it all changed because one person saw something and spoke up.

I wanted to share this story because I work with so many families who are absolutely heartbroken over their missing pets. While not every story has a happy ending, I want people to understand that just because your pet hasn't been seen in weeks or even months doesn't automatically mean they're gone.

Sometimes all it takes is one credible sighting to completely change the direction of a search.

That's why flyers matter. That's why sharing missing pet posts matters. That's why talking to neighbors and keeping your eyes open matters.

So if you're missing a pet right now, please don't lose hope just because time has passed. And if you see an animal that you think might be somebody's missing pet, please report it. Even if you're not 100% sure.

You never know when your one sighting could be the missing piece of the puzzle that finally brings somebody's pet home.

Eight months later, Jocko was finally home. ❤️🐾

STILL MISSING — WE NEED SIGHTINGS OF KAVIK!

HAMBURG, PENNSYLVANIA — PLEASE KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN!

Kavik is a senior German Shepherd who has been missing for quite some time now, and we're still doing everything we can to help bring this old boy home.

We've recently received two possible sightings in the area, but neither has been confirmed with a picture. Right now, getting a good, reliable sighting is going to be huge in helping us narrow down where he might be.

We're looking at possibly conducting additional drone searches in the areas of these reported sightings to see if we can confirm what people have seen.

📍 Hamburg, PA — Old US 22, Monument Road, and surrounding areas.

If you live, work, hunt, or travel through this area, PLEASE keep your eyes open. Check your trail cameras, security cameras, fields, and wooded areas.

⚠️ If you see Kavik:

- Please DO NOT chase him.
- Take a picture or video from a distance if possible.
- Note the exact location, time, and direction of travel.
- Contact us immediately at 717-965-6522.

We know it's been a long time, but we're not giving up on Kavik. One confirmed sighting could make all the difference.

🙏 PLEASE SHARE THIS POST, especially with friends and family in the Hamburg area. The more eyes we have looking, the better chance we have of getting this old boy back home.

💚 Let's bring Kavik home!

3 YEARS. ONE BUCK. AND WE WERE THE LAST OPTION.

This hunter had spent three years following this buck. After finally getting his opportunity, the blood trail disappeared and he needed answers.

He called us in, and we spent nearly 3 hours searching through rain, fog, and absolutely miserable conditions.

But we stayed after it.

And finally… we found his buck.

This is why we do what we do. When a hunter calls us as the last option, we're going to give that search everything we've got.

No guarantees. Just 1000% effort.

LOST PET OWNERS — PLEASE BE CAREFUL.

Scams and fake drone-search pages are targeting families when they’re most vulnerable.

Before sending anyone money: check their reviews, look at their history, and CALL the pilot.

If I can’t help with your search, I’ll do my best to connect you with a reputable pilot who can.

Please share — it could save another family money, time, and heartache. 🐾
